In all honesty, I don't think Lambert has proved himself enough for a big club like Spurs to employ him. I would imagine (or hope lol) that Spurs will want someone who has experience in managing big name players.

I think the foreign manager experiment has failed and the FA need to change course!

Wouldn't be surprised if his name was high up the list, personally I reckon it'll be Moyes or Rijkaard although i'm sure there will be some strange names coming from the left field... I read Mourinho earlier....

Pearce as a caretaker until the end of the season with Redknapp in a part time 'overseeing' role until then.
Failing that, I would think Mourinho could be a serious contender this time around.

Pearce for me on an interim basis

At least this means no more Terry gate

Or I like the tony pulls suggestion - hoofball and pepe-style tactics anyone???? Worth a punt

There's no real reason it couldn't be done on a part-time basis until the end of the season, is there?
The qualifying is already done, friendly games before a tournament won't take a lot out of the manager, and the watching of players is something an employed manager would be doing anyway.
Is that really naive?

I think it's gotta be Harry in some form. whether its in the summer with a temporary replacement in the interim or part-time with tottenham or whatever.

He's built for it, hopefully he can bring us our pride back! Actually buzzing for the euros now!

You need someone who is proven to work with limited resources because it's not like you can buy Messi. Also a motivator and tactician but in England's case it's going to take dropping the dead wood using the next generation of players and knocking the ego's down a peg too. Don't want to sound negative but I'm not convinced by anyone when it regards England as it will be the same **** with the same bunch of overpaid ****ers playing.

If Paul Jewell was England Manager his starting line up would be:

David Seaman
Ashley Cole
Lee Dixon
Tony Adams
Gareth Southgate
David Beckham
Frank Lampard
Stevie G
Steve McManaman
Michael Owen
Emile Heskey

Because you need some wise old heads in there!
