Sounds promising. Hope you'll receive further good news soon Never. I too echo Ivor's comments. I'll pray for a swift recovery <ok>

BRILLIANT news, Never!! Listen, if the op went that well, if she does require ongoing treatment it needn't necessarily be chemo. If there are just a few bits to mop up, radiotherapy could well do that. It worked for me and it was a breeze.

Anyway, be sure to pass on our messages of support to her. Looking forward to more good news.

Just thought I'd post an update. Mrs Never went for the results today, not the news we wanted but expected. She now has to go through chemotherapy in the next couple of weeks, she may need some radiotherapy at the end of her chemo. The op went fine but the consultant wants to air on the safe side and due to age etc feels a course of Chemo would be advisable.

We hoped that this wouldn't be needed, but better safe than sorry.

I've said if she can have a long blond wig, she clumped me for that. Glad to see she still has a sense of humour.

Treatment started, she's had the first two all going ok but not very nice. Has good days and bad days. Only four more left another one in two weeks then were over the hill and half way there.

i've got a GP appointment tommorow for something unrelated but i'll get my private parts checked out, i've been putting it off for ages, i hate going to the doctors so wish me luck guys......<ok>

Swamp good luck with everything, in times like this we put our rivalry firmly to one side. Hope you get some good news.

huge push over here atm - have the balls to check your balls for testicular cancer. same here swamp, dunno what a prostate exam involves but its time. cant be worse than a bob up the ass lol

just got back lads, thanks for all the messages.

all fine. anyone who like me puts it off out of embarassment, there is no embarassment at all, trust me, this is someone who gets embarassed about body parts like this. FFS the doc had to take a call half way through inspecting my bollocks and i was lying there almost naked for what seemed an age <laugh>

DO NOT PUT IT OFF. a false alarm for me, but i now have peace of mind that my physical health is fine.

Oh and i almost forgot, never, hope everything goes well for your wife <ok>
