Ok why do we not have this to quite the same degree - we were all reasonably confident they would come back from 2-0 down at home. We would not have (on here) been nearly so confident would we?
To be fair, I think the belief {that we could do that} among the players and fans has increased massively since Alex Neil has been at the club. Under Hughton or Adams, I'd have said no chance, but there's a much steelier resolve starting to show through now. Not for the first time in my life, I raise my glass of vino blanco to David Mcnally
Indeed Cromer and yet 5 months ago, many fans on here and the PinkUn were calling for him to be replaced!!
Wacko!! Stevo @StevoCook Twinkle twinkle little star Mind the gap? HaHaHa You were leading, now youre not Take your past, its all youve got
Bournemouth fans would have been pretty confident that they were going to beat us at 1-1 playing 10 men, confidence isn't always well placed. Bournemouth are only in a 1.031% better position than us. Our confidence does seem to be improving rapidly however and we don't know how fans or players would react to going 2-0 down at home under Alex Neil because it hasn't happened (it hasn't happened away either) We're becoming something of a juggernaut. David McNally has pulled another one out the bag with Neil. I'm In the camp who has been defending him all along, mostly because the hiring and fireing of managers is not his primary role but on balance he seems better than most. HIs general running of our club is superb the idea of diposeing of all the good he does in revenge for Hughton's style of football would be cutting of our nose to spite our own faces. The affects what league we play in but the CEO affect whether we play at all.
Not sure that is fair that Middlesborough get four points for a win. Your table has them winning three and losing three but getting 12points. Went back to check and Brentfords is wrong as well, two wins, three draws for eight points. Don't know where you get these tables from JR, but I would try to find an alternative source.
You're doing it again Cromer mate. But have these on me... ' ' ...(the two apostrophes you missed, unlike you...)
Thanks GE - I've corrected my errors. Also Wolves have replaced Brentford in the top 6 anyway. Awesome form by the 3 teams in the top 3 positions and I'm not sure we'll see much change in the actual teams in the top 6 between now and May 2nd. Wolves play Middlesbrough and 1p5wich in the next few weeks. I'll update the Remaining Fixtures Thread later. http://www.not606.com/threads/remaing-fixtures.292249/page-12
That would be because it was a 'copy & paste' direct from twitter. And as for "doing it again" (?), just ask yourself about some of the stuff said by ITHC fans when our positions in the table were reversed a couple of months ago...
For the benefit of wellyblue and a few others of alien persuasion - I'm on twitter and among others I follow TWTD, EADT (I lived for many years in Essex) and the 'Big Mick' (McCarthy) ITFC parody account. If, I repeat IF they post something about Suffolk / ITHC that I find amusing and think may raise a smile / eyebrow among my fellow contributors on here , I shall post it. I rarely visit your forum - nor do I "trawl" the internet, looking for malicious twaddle to upload about you and yours. I'd like to think that's cleared it up, but probably...............
Can't really argue with that JT but our Wes doesn't do it as a matter of course, Wilson is a serial offender!
Yes that is definitely the difficulty with singling out one incident - it always guarantees a response like that! Dave's right about Wilson and everyone says it. What is of more concern to me is that there ahve been a few games where a player has been sent off against them only to have it rescinded after the match - the damage has already been done by then (and yes I am bitter as it happened to us). I honestly think Bournemouth get away with stuff because they are the media darlings at the moment.
My response wasn't a pop at you Dan. It just annoys me when someone picks out a single incident, when their team has also done the same. No one here defended Hoolahan, as I'm sure no one defended your player on your board.
I knew it wasn't a pop so apologies if it looked like I took it as one. I would have made exactly the same point as you
The other ludicrous thing about a Watford fan having a go about Hoolahan's dive was that there were at least three, even less subtle, dives by Watford players in that very match. Yes, they didn't result in a penalty, but it just goes to show that there are no untarnished teams in today's game.
