I agree totally with comments, wasted opportunity for all sports fans and players to celebrate, respect and pay tribute to a mighty much loved Monarch. Were the Clubs consulted? Just watched the Oval crowd and players rise to the occasion, splendid singing, stirring stuff. FA/EFL got this wrong. After a few days of mourning, we should be celebrating Queen's life by joyful activities, singing, sport, communities coming together, not by shutting down.
We average two goals a game, we've conceded ten goals in eleven matches, and we average 60% of possession a match. So, should be a comfortable 2-0 win under the floodlights tomorrow night - right?
Hope we don't get too over complacent. Cracking win and performance Saturday, need to carry that through and be clinical. I'm sure KM and Co won't let them take the foot off the gas...
I share your confidence in KMc keeping them grounded. 3-1 Town COYB!!! (Revision of my original prediction given the way both sides have performed subsequently)
Hampy, you are sounding very optimistic and full of it, amazing how our lives can be changed by football!
I admire your optimism, but feel they will shut up shop & make it very difficult for us. 1 nil, nail biting win.
I think the Lad will be on fire too, gonna keep with 3-1. Trouble is we have nice new neighbours coming round for a meal at 6pm. What do I do? Suggestions(decent) on a postcard!
One hour and 45 minutes is more than enough time for the nice, new neighbours to eat a meal around yours and then leave, Gaffer
At 7.40 tell them you have an important appointment in Amsterdam and you only have 5 mins to get there
Probably your best bet is make an excuse just before kick-off for five minutes, set iFollow running, pause the game and watch it on catch-up when they leave!
Good to see Ball come in, but probably would have swapped him for Morsy. Otherwise, first 11 most of us would've expected... Still think it will be tougher than most think
