Well you called that one wrong Lambo about Folan's contract and you are digging yourself deeper with your lack facts. Since when did you become a pyschoanalyst?Do you really think any player has serious time off without a just cause. As I recall Folan spent a long time off with damage to his thigh(so called dead leg) but during that time he had fluid drained at least 3 times from the wound, each time requiring recuperation ,as indeed you would have done. Again following his injury at Barnsley, which others make light of, he required an operation, as indeed did ***an eventually. Is that in the mind? For posters to ignore facts and make up rubbish shows the predujice they have against the lad..... And your quackery to help fan the flames does not help..

Link?

I am just reporting a quote from the Colorado Rapids site my friend so what's with the "Witch Hunt"?
I was very impressed with Caleb when he first joined us and said so in many posts. however, it became painfully obvious that the poor bloke was not only born offside but was also born injured which was also corroborated by the fact that he also had a left leg that unfortunately wouldn't go in the general direction of his right leg.
I wish Caleb all the very best in his endeavour to secure himself some sort of future but he remains a very, very big risk to prospective investors owing to his past record of underachievement's and injuries.

Looks like if we want to get rid we'll be paying half his wages.. again.. it's a wonder we're in 10th and bringing in new players with the Duffen milstone still hanging round our necks.. gonna take another year or two to shake the full effects off..

I thought folan did show a lot of heart agianst Barnsley once injured and was unlucky with his chance which hit the bar.

That said why the pop at Barmby who shows more fight than any other player. Cheap shot without any factual basis.

e18 I accept it was a cheap shot of mine against Barmby, whom I admire, but I just wanted to contrast the treatment of the two players. I presume you didnt go to barnsley and see Nicky walk off the pitch witha niggle after 25 mins only to be on the bench for the next game.Fact.

This happens every week in every team! How many times do you see players come off with a niggle and be fit for the next game? Because thats exactly what it is, a niggle, could be something, could be nothing but its better to be safe than sorry.

I did indeed call it wrong, I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to extend a lucrative deal for a player that was rarely available, but I forgot it was Paul Duffen.

The psychology comments are not actually mine, they are Brownie's, he said that he'd arranged Folan sessions with a Sports Psychologist, as he believed his injures were more in his head, than his body. Folan takes months to get over injuries that normally take weeks, if it were just on a couple of occasions then it would be fair enough to just consider him a bit unlucky, but it's been the case for his entire career, even when he was at Chesterfield, there's something not right with the lad.

I wish him well, I hope he gets another deal, I've got nothing against the bloke, other than we pay him £16k a week and he's never available.
