You want to see a doctor, incontinence is not a laughing matter. If they don't ask for a transfer, then why would Liverpool entertain a bid? Yes they have to respond, but it will probably be "piss off Real", unless the player wants to leave and then they might cash in.
There's no proof in any of this, the whole "I'm leaving/I'm happy to stay" is all part of the Summer transfer window. Fans saying the he's definately leaving are no more in the know than the ones suggesting he's going to stay. This will continue throughout the Summer with many different players. We'll all decide which so called truth we like best and run with it. Peronally I think he'll stay but that's just what the lady next door tells me and she's in the know.
Then why did you write your response in such a way as to make people think you were telling us that Suarez had told his agent to do that? There is no ambiguity, you clearly did that.
Not quite, as this is only being discussed after the player himself gave the following interview; " "I love Liverpool, but if there is a chance of playing somewhere else … I suffered too much as a kid to get where I am to be attacked unfairly by the English press. They haven't appreciated me as a player, they've just judged my attitude. "I'm happy at Liverpool, I'm happy because of the fans. I made a mistake, I'm human, but [the press] talked about me in ways they shouldn't have. My family have suffered and things got out of hand. My daughter and my wife have suffered. I'm not prepared to continue to put up with the English press." Asked about Real, he said: "I've talked to my agent, there's nothing concrete. To say no to Madrid would always be difficult and more so with the team they have. I have a contract with Liverpool, but it would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid. There are a lot of rumours in the transfer period, but you never know until firm offers are made. "I've talked to the coach [Rodgers], and he knows what I want. He was a player. Some of the players understand my situation – enough said." He added that Liverpool have treated him well and he had "only words of thanks for the fans". Perez the RM President has said the following when asked about it today "Well, Suarez is a great player, like [Edinson] Cavani, [Robert] Lewandowski … We can't talk about players from other clubs but if you ask me if I like Luis Suárez then, yes."
Basically Suarez is playing the waiting game. If Real come in for him and Liverpool reject an offer; you can bet he'll suddenly change his tune and maybe even hand in a request. Until he knows he has a better option, I imagine he'll continue to pay lip service to Liverpool. I'm sure he does love the club (as much as a foreign player can) but he can do better then scrapping for bragging rights on Merseyside. The reference to Mata above is only so relevant as we have won more trophies than Real these past 2 seasons with Mata so he doesn't need to leave to further his career in the same way Suarez probably does.
imo Liverpool are better off without him, youve been far more consistent. So are the Premier League. Good riddance.
I replied but it went wrong, but basically it is a translation and is engineered so that the media have a story. Maybe, maybe not? Depends on what you want to read from it. Like I've been saying it depends on what truth you want to hear, it's not unpalatable for me, you may even be right but I'm not taking that interview as gospel and anyone doing so is a fool.
What's your gut Luvgonzo, do you think he'll still be with you next year. I think he'll have another year then move if Liverpool haven't gone forward sufficiently (same as Bale). Normally these big transfers seem to take a year to happen nowadays unless the selling club want to sell.
So he's been misquoted then? Seeing as you're stating this as fact, then I assume you can clarify exactly what was lost in translation?
I think he'll stay but yes that is just a gut feeling and yes we will have to improve if he is to stay beyond that. Not saying it's fact but I'm not going to take that interview as fact either. The media love to twist interviews to make stories more interesting, I'm sure you are aware that that does happen on occasion? It MAY have happened here or perhaps that interview is 100% I don't know. But people saying that he is 100% going to leave are putting their faith in something far from concrete.
Hopefully Suarez does fark off... He's a top player but he is absolute scum. Vile. Meanwhile Brendan Rodgers has said there 'isn't anything that Real Madrid can offer that we can't match'...
Better wages Better quality of living in Madrid (weather etc) Playing for the biggest club side in football Champions league football Ability to play with other world class players every week Chance to compete for the domestic and european titles Chance to play under a top class manager if Ancelotti goes there mmmmm...what you been smoking Brendan!?!? The only thing Real Madrid wont do is have the squad wearing supportive T-Shirts next time he ****s up!!
I mean even the staunchest of Liverpool fans must be laughing at that. FFS what is in the water up there?
The guy is a great footballer, just shame he cant stop causing controversy. He is in the wrong country if he is going to act like a knob on or off the field. The English media are all over him like a rash now, every time he sneezes. Its of his own making for sure, but he is probably better off going abroad, he will earn more money and win more trophies at Madrid anyway. The only people that would lose would be Liverpool, and even that would be mitigated by the fee they receive, which will likely be upwards of £35-40 million. If they invest that wisely on 2-3 solid players they will improve, besides, Sturridge is looking like he can take over with the goals....been a different player since he signed for the Dippers.
