Except Suarez doesn't have a 35 or 40mill buyout clause. What he does have, is a 40mill clause which lets other clubs speak to him about a potential move, but the price he goes for isn't fixed. Ballague isn't always correct, but I think he's right about there being serious interest in him from Spain and Italy and it is up the Luis if he stays or goes.

Why would a contract have a clause that grants the player permission to speak to other clubs but then the club have to bid even more to sign him?!!?
If I was Suarez I'd leave. He could waste the next few years of his career waiting for Liverpool to play catch up, or go to a club that is certain to challenge for domestic and european honours. I think he owes Liverpool to a degree but we all know 99% of players ultimately don't give a ****. He is also hated in this county by most football fans and instead could go to somewhere like Spain where his band of 'theatrics' would be better appreciated.

Player tells his agent to put out a statement saying he is happy and has no intention of leaving. Quite clear that.
So my conclusion from this is.............
If and I mean if Real Madrid offered the required amount of money Suarez would consider the move, however if this does not happen he is happy at Liverpool.

There is more too it than that Lugo. He is pissed off with the press and his family does not like Liverpool but like all of us after a holiday our job does not seem so bad again so like Bale he may stay another season
It will be no shock if he does go but as long as the money is right you wont get many complaints from us, if he stays we'll also be happy enough as long as he behaves. He can be a naughty boy at times.
