You will both improve on last year, but the reason I see more room for improvement from Spurs is because the reason they were **** was their manager. Ange was a complete ****stick and his tactics were batshit for the team he had. Him leaving, even without any signings, would improve them, especially when the incoming manager is Thomas Frank, who is a decent PL manager.
United, you have made a couple of decent signings in Cunha and Mbeumo, but you still have the same manager and the same dead squad.....currently, still a month or so of the window left so things can change.

United's biggest (not only) problem last season was the lack of a clinical finisher - they've now acquired 2 ...and could even get a third with Sesko...

So far Spurs acquisitions have been rather underwhelming and I'd be backing United to finish above them as a consequence...

They will both improve, but for me, last season, Spurs biggest issue was tactical, not a personnel issue.
United was the opposite, they dont have the players, they need players across the board, and yes they have signed a couple of good players, but two players arent going to drag you from from 15th into the Champions League, which is where a club like United need to be, not just for statures sake, but for financial reasons too, given how broke they appear to be.

Well yeah, you said this on our board a couple of days ago.

I wasnt aware of that, I have to say, but obviously I dont follow United as much as you guys.

So, you're basically regurgitating things said by which ever talking head spouts the loudest.
But you don't use social media, bar X of course, so it must be your itk journalist mate.

We had little cutting edge last season, yet we've now bought Mbuemo and Cunha, so that's a clear and obvious improvement right there.

The intention is a striker and keeper in this window.

And Amorim will now fully implement what he has planned, with a pre season.

And we're not skint, we're balancing the books. Which should have been done properly over the last decade.

We haven't got a sugar daddy, same as everyone else, but United do make money.

I'll be honest, some of the stuff sounds like it's got Jamie O Hara being told what to say all over it. He's a ****ing halfwit

That station is the worst possible source for anyone's information, it's just radio click bait ****e.

Glad you don't!

<ok>

As Boro found out with Robson, buying the best players doesn't mean you'll win anything if you're manager is ****.

Things going fine as it happens mate ... won 4 out of 5 pre season and played 2 yesterday splitting the squad ...

Really looking forward to the season.... Monga has starred in the pre seasons and Fatawu is back from his ACL and looking fine - two of the most exciting young talents in the League .. all's good! <cheers>

<laugh> Desperately Bumping Susan ...

... having followed in the footsteps of a £30 million squad winning the Premier League still really stings those couch based Pool fans...
