We are lacking in some areas and have a small squad and when you have injuries we have to bring in inexperienced youngsters.

Need a plan B.

We need to spend money and not do a Wenger!

If Jos is out for a while we need a CB now. We might be Ok for strikers with Lee but another would be good insurance. Falque may not have done well tonight but he has enough class to fit in once he's got used to our style.

It aint that simple, we IMO shouldnt be living beyond our means and spending ludicrous amounts of money whilst in the second teir (hooper). Getting good players at a reasonable price is always difficult even more so in Jan, who wants to sell their best player half way through the season. Their is not point shelling out for rubbish I'm sure if there are players available nige will have a look, if not then poss a loan or just stick with what we have, I reckon it will be the latter.

Just keep calm and have faith in Nigel. It was a bad performance and Leicester played very well. 19 attempts away from home says it all.

It sems obvious that Saints need new blood!! IMO January is not the time to flash large amounts of money. Only two players I would like Nige to buy but they are unattainable at present - Tim Cahill of Everton and Clint Dempsey! That's my dream list of purchases. If Pompey need a fire-sell what about Pearce? In reality I think we just need to ride out this rough period and get back on track starting against Cardiff. That's when the serious business starts. Come back Chaplow asap!

Falque might as well be sent back tomorrow, he's clearly a skill full player but nowhere near the standard we need, we'd be just as well off playing one of our youngsters. Transfers aside Adkins has done a great job, but lets be honest he's garbage at transfers.

Yes.How many times did he have the ball,3 times?

Well i would be more worried if he got the ball 100 times and fell over everytime. Hard to judge a new player coming into a game where the rest of the team played so bad not exactly the best way to blend in.

We Are too lightweight. We need A big **** off defender and midfield general. Another player with pace wouldn't go a miss.

Jack Cork, when he's not out on the wing is fine as a holding midfielder. We need a striker and a winger, proven ones not 18yr old's and foreigners who've never even played over here. At the minute we're all talk when it comes to signings but seem to be reverting back to our transfer policy from the old days.

We need signings now not later, we needed a holding midfielder, a cb, and a striker, and we need some experienced proven players. I said all of these in another thread and got ripped apart by the majority of the forum

I know we need signings, but I don't think we need a holding midfielder at all. Top priorities are a striker and winger, then a keeper and centre back.
