Ye gods - I've said it before and I'll say it again - this side doesn't know when it's beaten.

ok no damage done - Sheff w drew with MKD, so we stretch 10 points clear of 2nd and 11 of 3rd. !! Could have been worse - and we were bound to have days/nights like this - just shows that we keep on going !

Rather drop points v Bury than Sheffield !!
With our goal diff, its really 12 points clear on 3rd - so, 4 wins away from everyone.

Listening on Player, sounded like Haynes is a much better option than Clarke. For the people who were there, is that a fair judgement?

Thank God for Dale Stephens is otherwise all I can say.

Well, I've finished jumping about on the sofa, Mrs Shabby has persuaded the police not to press charges, and now I'm just shattered. A point against Bury but to be honest, looked like none. Hats off to the boys.

Thought i'd just mention that i thought the crowd was disappointing tonight - 13k odd - then checked Braindead - they were 9,200 - for a local derby ! (and they lost !) - once they're down in L1 next season, they'll be back down to 5k . - Couldnt happen to a nicer club .

Yep- a much better option than Clarke.
Surprised no-one has mentioned Wiggins, our best player.

Just back. Frozen stiff. Best we've played for a while but no cohesion up front. Bury we're awful. Wiggins MOM and our most potent threat. Solly close behind. Stephens added real class and what a goal!!!!! On the downside Clarke looks ponderous and adds nothing. Bad service to him though. Kermorgant tried hard as always but had one of his poorer games. JJ was anonymous and wasted a couple of chances with wild shooting. Green was very frustrating. Picked the wrong option several times and put one absolutely killer cross in without looking up to see that there was no-one there! Small crowd and very quiet Could have been a lot worse though. Major banana skin only just avoided. May turn out to be a good point. Appreciate BWP more now that he's missing. He would have had a field day out there. Bury the poorest team I've seen this season. Time wasting par excellence. Hamer had almost nothing to do but looked flappy again and should have saved the goal. Morro looked a mile offside in the lead up to our goal but who cares!

I didn't manage to get down there tonight cos I'm off on my hols tomorrow, and I had a shat load of packing to do.

Anyway my uncle went in my place and said that Clarke was poor (not exactly what he said mind <laugh>). He reckons he completely lacks composure and gave the ball away far too cheaply.

However, he absolutely loved the look of Haynes. I’m not questioning the gaffer but, for my money a little nippier front man alongside Kermo surely makes more sense that Clarke.

I have no doubt that Clarke has something to offer, I’m just not sure that we’ll see the best of him alongside Kermo. Maybe I’m wrong, we’ll see…

Finally home, agreed wiggins was MoM, solely was also solid. Think haynes should have started over clarke, kermit linked up much better with haynes. Good to see stephens back, thought he did well, glad we got something from this cold evening :)

I thought JJ should have come off. He looked disinterested, his shooting was wild and he could have been red-carded for a late tackle which Durso didn't even give a foul for. Skipper or not, no player is bigger than the team. Wiggins was terrific though.

I thought bury we're decent value in consideration. They never resorted to hack & whack, made the odd chance and scored a well worked goal, good away performance, almost perfect.

Heard a lot of groaning on the way out, but we played pretty well, patient, with a lot of good deliveries in good areas. I think the criticism of Clarke is harsh, the point was more his role with Kermo. When Clarke did receive ball it was almost always with no support from anywhere. He got one chance first half and was denied by a superb save, top drawer. However as eluded to, Haynes provided the spark.

And that goal..............................best you'll see at the valley, maybe ever

Clarke and Kermo didnt work two big men up front rarely works for me.Haynes looked a threat and very quck.
Wiggins was easily our best player and our most potent attacking force at times in the 2nd half it ws like Wiggins V Bury.
Tought we started ok and overall i`ve seen us worse.
The goal made it worth going tonight just wow....
Holands was very poor though everyone has an off day apart from solly of course.
Bury were very poor in my oppinion constantly gave the ball away one of the poorest teams i`ve seen this season though their keeper...the fat bloke did well.
Another point closer to the title.
The draw felt like a win due to the way it came about and the fans seemed happy enough.
The whole bury team sank to their knees.
Having seen alot of Green and waggy I cant see much diffrence infact I favour waggy to be honest.
BWP a massive miss today really noticeable that he wasnt in the side.

I tend to agree that criticism of Clarke was harsh. He is a good enough player but just doesn't seem to be in tune with the rest of the squad, as a result some of his passing was seen to be poor. He is much fitter than when he joined us but Haynes would be at 100m when Clarke was halfway. Haynes was the catalyst that changed the match from my viewpoint.

Hamer was the surprising weak point for me. he obviously had a disagreement with Solly in the first half and his distribution from then on was poor. Solly went on a bit of a sulk until the last 20 and then started to perform. Yann was as normal always at the centre of everything and was unlucky on a couple of occasions. Wiggins mostly shone.

Overall the team had a bit of a mare in the first half but pulled together to rescue a point. Brass monkeys were out in force and after a 60 plus mile drive home I have come to the conclusion that we were lucky to salvage a point.

Clarke looks like he knows what he's doing even if it didn't come off for him tonight...

We'd have taken 4 from 6 against the Sheffields so it's not too bad tonight; the manner of the result should give the boys belief and spirit etc although of the 5(?) draws at home most have been against teams we'd expect to beat.

From a distance Stephens looks like the ghost of Dave Mooney
