You could argue that steaks only job in life is to support the arsehole but if you like the taste (after cooking) then eat it.

Didn’t your dad wash them? Offal is eaten all over the world. You are coming across as rather squeamish.
Think it was accidental as I go there regularly and it was first one. I certainly wasn’t going to complain!
Love kidneys. Needless to say the wife doesn’t. But benefit of an airfryer is you don’t get the smell given off that used to put her off when cooking them under grill or on stove top so I get to eat them them more regularly now,
