He was recently kicked off the X Factor for a second time.
And Jake Quickenden had his confident knocked down a peg by one of his closest friends in the Australian jungle on Saturday night's show of I'm A Celebrity.
The show has started with Jake revealing that he was feeling less than confident about how to keep hold of his 15 minutes of fame.
In a frank discussion with the rest of the celebrities, Jake gathered their tips and advice on how he could build his career.
But it seems Jimmy Bullard did not pay attention of Jake's sensitivity about the matter as he went on to mock Jake in a tense exchange.
While the pairâs playful banter has been keeping their campmates amused over the past few days, Jimmy appeared to go a bit far when he criticised Jakeâs talent.
His fellow campmates were confused as to whether or not he was joking as Jake explained: âThis morning me and Jim had a bit of banter.

âVicki came in and Michael was lying on a bed and she thought it was Jimmy so I was like whay-hay, Jimmy, Vicki thought you was Michael. You must have the same body. And he didnât really like it!â.
Jimmy reacted with an expletive riddled rant as the pair began to have what look like the beginning of a tiff.
Jake wound Jimmy up whilst laughing as he said: 'You canât take it, can you?'
Jimmy snapped: 'What have I got to take? That I look like him? I donât give a f***. Just because Iâm the governor at Banter. You just get hurt you lanky piece of s***'.
Jake continued to goad: 'You bite so quick. You donât come back with anything. You get nasty. You get nasty, donât you? It donât matter. I understand, itâs fine.'
'I miss the old Jim that you was when I first came in. The nice guy who was funny. Not the annoying p****.'

Harsh: Jimmy said, 'You werenât (entertaining) on The X Factor, thatâs for sure. I thought you had a bit about you but the more Iâm getting to know you, the more Iâm just thinking, "what the f*** is this p**** doing in here?'

Jimmy replied: 'I canât be your entertainment all the time. You canât rely on me. Youâve got to entertain yourself because you banterâs sh*te.'
He then pushed further: 'You werenât (entertaining) on The X Factor, thatâs for sure. I thought you had a bit about you but the more Iâm getting to know you, the more Iâm just thinking, "what the f*** is this pr*** doing in here? Whatâs he offering?"
'Why the f**k are you in here? What are you? What sort of skill have you got?'
Jimmy looked towards Foggy saying: 'World champ, fair enough, what the f*** have you done? Picked a mic up?'.
Whatever: Jake calmly defended himself as he said, 'I said that when I came in. I donât even know why Iâm here myself. You Mr Burns looking ****'

And Jimmy later said: âMe and Jake always have banter. Itâs devilish banter.
âItâs like the survival of the toughest, you know what I mean, but I got brought up by a bunch of animals that I canât be beaten so I just let him have it.â
Jake added: âItâs funny. Itâs good to have guys in the camp that can take a bit of banter and can give it out as well, so I pretended I was p*ssed off and I pretended that I was annoyed but at the end of the day I wasnât even bothered.â
Too far: Jimmy admitted he might have gone too far as he told the cameras, 'Youâve got to be careful because if I go over the top and that he could flip and heâs my mate, do you know what I mean'

Sorry mate: Later when Jimmy and Jake were chatting, Jimmy took the opportunity to smooth things out with his friend Jake and apologise

'He could go ballistic. Like literally it could end up in a tear up.
'I just said why are you even here? What do you do? Banter? He has just bucked mate. I was a little bit like, "Ooh, I shouldnât have said that to my old mate."'
Later when Jimmy and Jake were chatting, Jimmy took the opportunity to smooth things out with his friend Jake and apologise.
He said: 'I hurt you there, didnât I, that little bit of banter? I can tell, (youâre) just a little bit affected. I didnât mean it. Just pure banter and I mean that. I would never, ever mean (it), you know that. I can tell from your body language.'
Jake smirked as he replied: 'Iâm angry. If I was outside Iâd have knocked your face off your head'.
