PB 'got' us. Might have taken a bit of time and undoubtedly his missus (Lizzie Rose of RH)assisted in the process as she is a fan, but by the end he was as disillusioned and pissed off as the rest of us at the totally unnecessary slo-mo car crash that we have become.

All the same, he did a job here I think. You don't choose your club, your chooses you and all that.
He's a Sunderland fan who has grown to care enormously about Hull City. I've spent a bit of time in the past looking at/working with local media in my profession. You don't get many local football journalists of the calibre of Phil, perhaps outside the very big teams. We were lucky to have him.
