Excellent piece. It shows as well that we’re only a takeover away from getting that bandwagon rolling again and charging up the leagues. We’re ****ing massive at this level. Numerous sell outs of a 25k stadium in league 2 and 1 last time round showed this. Cheers Phil, and **** off Allams.

Numerous?

You wander if the athletic article a month or so ago was fuelled by Phil? He’s a good journalist, I hope he does well and exposes more of the Allams nonsense in his new role.

Does anyone subscribe to The Athletic? If so, do you think it's value for money? They seem to have a really really good set of writers on their books, but I just can't see a subscription model working for them long term when there is so much available for free.....

I've signed up at 2.99 per month for a year, what I have read it is well worth it. 10p a day is IMO good value if you are interested to read sports articles..

Should be remembered that The Athletic has other journalists within its ranks that have lots of experience reporting on City (and have had more access to the Allams over the past three or four years).

It looks like there’s actually some journalism done there, which is more than you get for free.
