Gordon is 10 times the keeper that Ming is IMHO.
The save from Cabaye he went one handed instead of both. (Could so easily have went any where, pretty lucky he glanced it away from goal)
Defintely should have done better with Taylors miss hit cross.
Gordon would have saved the goal at Liverpool last week too.
I agree about the first half being Sunderlands but once again we didn't take advantage of the chances.
All the more reason we should have had two up.

I didnt say Gordon wasnt better, and i should have said Gordon at Stoke last season, thing is though we never bloody learn.

Against Stoke we let Fuller in front of Gordon all the time, Gordon had no room, Liverpool played them a week after, they had a defender between Reina and Fuller, Reina had room to manouvre, and stopped the long thrown threat.

Today Barton was getting infront of Mig, no defender trying to get in behind to give Mig room, Ok we got lucky and it didnt cost us a goal today, but still, we need to protect the keeper more imho, if the keeper feels protected he will be more confident in coming out and taking crosses, not coming out half hearted and flapping at them.

The free kick was just Mig standing in the wrong position when it was taking. (which i dont think Gordon would have done, i dont even think Westwood would have done, but i havnt seen enough of Westwood)

    Mind reader!

Not trying to fall out bonny lad. <ok>
Brigade was mentioned again, not by you though. :p
My problem is when the term brigade gets used to beat anyone who doesn't rate Bruce it gets very frustrating.
Same as last season when we honestly question Bruces nous! Numerous threads slanging off the so called Bruce out Brigade.
But those same posters could still question Bruces tactical nous. :p

But it seems I am full member of the Bruce out and Richardson out brigades. (I also don't rate Mingolet do we have a brigade for that yet?)

He must go now. Get Oneil in Quinn. It's early and he can do well. He supports US and is what we need

    Agree again mate. <ok>
For myself it isn't a good sign that I worry so much when we give away corner kicks.
Thankfully Richardson only gave away the one free kick unless I'm mistaken. :p

No problem lad, as I've said many times I don't believe we are any better than last year and questioned the lack of a quality replacement for bent. This along with the negative set up today and playing players out of position is a risky game Bruce is playing which I feel will ultimately lead to his demise.

A big part of a sunderland managers job is to win derbies, Bruce can't even get them fired up even after last seasons humiliation, he's took us as far as he can. We wil probably go on a good run now and all will be forgiven, I predict another Xmas slump and another defeat to the mags mediocre finish to season. If I'm on the Bruce out bregade your on the mediocre will do bregade.
