There's no doubting he did a good job for the Mugs, he isn't the right man for Sunderland though.

As for Bruce the Jury is still out as far as I'm concerned, he has time to turn it round this season and hand on heart I hope he does.
Like you said earlier BB this happening two seasons in a row doesn't bode well.

FFS after supporting Sunderland all these years I should be used to this sort of ****, doesn't mean I have got to keep on putting up with it.

Thing is mate in the past we've been skint, lacked ambition and been low on quality.

That ain't the case now, so summats gotta a) change or b) give.

With all the money that has been spent for the two years here, outside the top 10 is unacceptable IMO. People wondering who we would bring in, David Moyes. Bill Kenwright has already said that if an offer came in for him they couldn't say no. He has been working on a very limited budget at Everton, and they always finish above us. Bruce keeps on saying the same things, why doesn't he ****ing do something about it? We clearly don't practice set pieces and the fact that he complains at the hoofing just shows they don't respect his authority enough to listen to him. Gyan must get so frustrated with the quality of service! I don't care if Bruce has sold players which decreased the net spend the fact is he has spent alot money and we should be sitting comfortably in the top ten. As someone else has stated he's just not getting the best out of our good players. I think the board should be looking at possible candidates now and if we fail to finish in the top ten sack Bruce and bring in someone.

Having been around in the old days when we used to celebrate a draw against anyone like a win, I find our situation intolerable.

When I wrote this thread I expected a lot more defence of Bruce.
After the latest threads on the subject I fear our worries about Bruces tactical nous may be expanding among the Mackem brotherhood.
If the diehard Bruce fans aren't going to defend him I fear the worst.

Mackem,,,,,,,,,,,,, why not Mourinho? has anybody from Sunderland asked him, shy bairns get nowt, Sunderland has better facilities than Chealsea, an owner with a hell of a lot of dosh, given as free a hand as Bruce has had, maybe he might just fancy the challenge, our fish and chips are miles ahead of any cockney chippies, have you ever heard of Chealsea rock, no, but I bet Mourinho has heard of sunderland rock, walking on the beach at Roker with his dog, the man would just love it, easy striking distance of asda in Boldon too, cheaper second hand motors up here might just tempt him, as I said shy bairns get nowt.

Aye mate spot on and there's a poundshop.
The traffic wardens are sensible none vindictive nice chaps. So his Aston Martin can park any where he likes. (We may have to lie to him about that mind.)
I can just see Mourinho walking out of Jackie Whites with his savaloy dip in hand. (With all the trimmings.)

I can't for the life of me see Bruce surviving much longer. As Mackemsrule said, we weren't just thrashed, we rolled over far too often since February. I just wonder, if I walked into that dressing room and read out Angeleri's statement, how many of the players would quietly nod their heads. There's something gone out of that team now, and it won't come back on its own. The game's up, I'm afraid.

Does anyone fancy Keegan - just to see the faces up the road? Oh, boy, would they just spit blood a bit!!!!!!!!! I'd just love it (but only if Alan Hansen came with him).

You all are as bad as the tv pundits. If you were given the responsibility you would not no what to do. This loss of form is actually quite baffling and I for one do not know how to put it right, do you?

Maybe 'notcricket', but we arent supposed to be top level football managers are we? He is, and is making a right cock up of the situation.

Few people of here have commented on MON. I must say, i've never rated him. I can't argue against his record, but have you ever heard the guy on TV? He just talks absolute nonsense. It's strange that in the world of football, it can seem for all the world that something is something, when actually it's something else. Now who's talking nonsense? Ha. For example a team CAN go an ENTIRE season being crap but not get found out and have a good season. Bardsley has now scored a few long-range shots but his technique of striking a ball is actually pretty awful. MON's record is excellent, but he's actually not a good manager. Football is just mental.

Maybe I'm wrong perhaps I do know!

Send Kevin Ball in pre-match swinging a baseball bat, have him say "I want 100% out of each of you lot or full time you will be saying hello to my little friend."
