What you need to remember - both sides of this argument - is just cos it's said by someone in the media - be it Bruce himself or whoever - it doesnt mean it's true.

Unless you've seen his contract then I suggest none of us know and you're just referring to what people want us to think.

It'll never come to an end unless he leaves, that's the whole point of a rolling contract.

No, but either party is free to walk away from it in June, at the end of each year, without penalty. You know that's what I meant by its up in June.

If Newcastle came in for him they'd only have to pay off 6 months of his contract (or however these compo fees are sorted, I've no idea how they do it).

So it has a break clause?

    You've read it then?

I think we all now know why Brucie was making with the Newcastle comments the other day. I recall thinking 'are the skids on pardew again?' and then from left field, the palace links. I think it's serious this time and we are about to lose him to the toons.

Palace and Newcastle now talking compensation.

Looks very much like Pardew has had enough of the Loony Toons and will leave.

As to who will be Newcastle's next manager well I suppose the guessing game starts now....

Not a chance. Even though Pardew now looks set to join Palace in time for the FAC weekend.

Tony Pulis looks favourite for the Toon now IF he can work with Mike Ashley but then who could ? lol.

Wrong again Hat. Pardew has gone as compo has been agreed between the clubs.

It would appear that Mike Ashley's end game to get out of Newcastle has started.

Well if the papers are to be believed Palace are close to getting Pardew, I think Bruce will certainly be on Ashley's shortlist.

Not a chance. Bruce wont have any interest in Newcastle especially with MA as owner.

Have you spoken to him personally about it?

He's worked under David Gold and Assem Allam. What's Mike Ashley?

    Pardew's done one.

Newcastle won't be remotely interested in Bruce, his record in the last twelve months is appalling and the fact that he's a Geordie will be of no interest to Ashley,

If Bruce left, we'd probably end up with Neil Warnock (cheap)

If Bruce was to go(for any reason), we'd almost certainly go for Pulis, Premier League survival us all our owner cares about and he'd be the obvious choice.

Unlike you Hat, Steve Bruce has a massive respect for the Allams. Mike Ashley is a first grade so and so.
    Also,
Mike Ashley is wanting out of Newcastle asap so that he can take over at Rangers. Ok Hat ??

Who'd be happy with Pulis? He doesn't play attractive football but he generally uses his players effectively and gets results, with much poorer squads of players than the one we have. Currently we play ****e football and get ****e results, and improvement in just one of these would be better than nothing IMO.
