I watched neville and Carragher on MNF saying the defence was the one from the championship.. Ie shifting blame away fro bruce.

What happened to the one rafa built? Schar? Lejeune?

Yep. 11th or 12th highest wage bill. Obviously bare bones, but nobody was sold under him and he got Willock, Wilson and Lewis, more than almost every predecessor.

We played a different XI most weeks, in unfathomable formations, constantly playing at least 3 out of position. His loyalty to Clark, Lascelles, Hayden was bizarre, the only purple patch came post-Jones. He's looked lost, has no plan b, players seem to have no respect or regard for him. Just a very poor manager appointed well above his station by the worst owner we've likely ever had or ever will have.
