Mate, you are completely tripping if you don't believe the Saudi's want to smash this. They have not got involved with this to come 2nd to their little brother in the middle east. Not a chance. Not how they work.
 
Yassir being in the stands is a statement of intent. No two ways a ****ing bout it.

Him making the trip on a cold sunday for a game we are expected to lose? Thats the Saudi stamp of intent in my opinion.

Btw, it will be Gerrard. I have no doubt.

Yeah the aim is to win things, but this club is a wreck so it'll take ages

I don’t know why people are against Gerrard. He’s doing well. I know it’s Scottish football. But they still have the noisy neighbours and he is working with limited budgets.

He is an international ex premier league player and has worked under top managers.

His biggest influence ironically is Benitez.

He also could attract players because of his status.

I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Obviously Favre is preferable but had he done it on a cold night at stoke(Burnley).

Fonseca again. I’m unsure.

I just think Gerrard is the right fit if he would leave Gers. It’s a dress rehearsal for the Liverpool job and he would be crazy to ignore it.

It suits us. It suits him. It also suits Liverpool.

Its a stop gap appointment no matter what, but a big name like his I think would win us a few points and then a few players in Jan.

Its a great appointment, Im very happy hes in frame

I think everyones being realistic as far as I've seen anyway.

The only people that aren't are the ones that think having access to 700 billion over that time period and beyond won't get the club competing

All we've got to do is not die

I said to the missus if I survive to 50 years old I am going to attend a champions league final with us in it and I’m going to blow £1k on hookers. **** it.

She said that’s never going to happen. I said what they hookers part. She said no, us getting to the champions league.

She’s going to regret that!

People where expecting 100’s of millions spend and winning the league in 3 years.

We are mikes away from that.
