My beautiful dog.

RIP. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Bruce made my day even worse!!

I hate him!! :emoticon-0121-angry
Sorry for your loss.

If it’s any consolation I’ve heard Bruce will be relieved this week.

However I have also heard that Gerrard is going to get the job.

Ok chaps. I have heard via two separate contacts that Bruce will be relieved of his duties this week.

The contract issue is fixed.

The problem is his team of staff who are extremely loyal to Bruce. They are needed to carry out first team responsibilities.

That Jones will stay on but can’t do everything on his own.

One of the contacts says that the club want to do it as early as possible but the club are worried about the negative external image it may portray.

One of the contacts has been right before on things. The other is a legal person who has no contact with the other and they are both saying more or less the same thing.

He has also said that Lascelles was a major reason why Bruce was kept on for the Spurs match?
So Lascelles told Bruce I'll get you another game if you play me on Sunday.

That fits as Gerard really bugged up the Toon fans over the weekend on an interview I saw. I felt at the time he may be making his pitch. Perhaps he’d already been approached. Those who haven’t been approached like Rodgers were quick to dismiss things.

What it was 3 weeks ago - Ashley here, Charnley here, Bruce here, a small Jan kitty and an aim of 17th this season.

What it looked like a week ago - Ashley gone, Charnley gone, Bruce axed, Conte in with £250m+ to spend in January to aim for top 10.

The reality - Charnley here, Bruce here, 47 x unfortunately's, Gerrard possibly coming in with a kitty of less than £50m and an aim of 17th this season, owners with links to Kashoggi allegedly "worried" what sacking Bruce might look like.

Earth to the ****ing owners - sacking Bruce only hurts Steve Bruce, Alex Bruce and Luke Edwards. Everyone else in the ****ing world EXPECTS it to happen as a reflection of the new ambition we're supposed to have. Sticking with this ****ing nonce is madness.

I can only imagine that they thought sacking Bruce on 999 games would have looked bad. They can't seriously think that sacking him is a bad look now especially after a loss and no wins this season.

I wonder if they just want DoF sorted first so that their preferred choice comes in

Perhaps, but I'd question why that appointment wasn't lined up very quickly. City had one instantly when Mansour took it over, because it was seen as pivotal. Surely they'd sounded these things out, yet there wasn't even anyone at the game or any sniff that an appointment is close.

Gerrard I can see - McParland and Brown will know that bloke well.

I suppose it's possible that the deal went through faster than anyone expected once the piracy was cleared up. Could have left them without time to get it all arranged

Sure, clearly it's not deliberate! We probably need a touch of patience - I think they can buy a lot of goodwill and time by removing Bruce, though.

I'm sorry, but this the moment of truth for our new owners.
I'm so grateful for what they have done, but if he is still in charge for the next game then they have made their first mistake!

I'm not getting on their backs, they will make mistakes everyone does, but this decision is a no-brainer.

Nobody wants him here! Almost anybody half decent is a massive upgrade.
Rafa had the same defence working as a unit and we were hard to score against.

This muppet has untrained them to a League One level.

In fact, not having a manager is more beneficial than having Bruce!!

Get Rid, NOW!!!!

Mike fast tracked things in private with the PL. it was in everyone’s interests to make it happen fast. It caught PIF on the hop so they are playing catch up.

Will you be politely murmuring your discontent from the confines of your hospitality box?

No I never said nothing negative all day despite what I was watching. And I really wanted to go down on the pitch and throttle Longstaff and Willock. What a lazy pair of useless ****s they were yesterday. I never joined in the Bruce out chants either. I really want him gone quite badly and think it was an error not bulleting him before Spurs.

However I've decided patience is a virtue and good things are coming. So I'm not getting myself worked up over the current **** hawks.

Got a killer hangover today mind. I have a massive pain behind my left eye too. I think my entire body is just saying "here mate **** off you aren't 21"

In a way it probably makes sacking him easier now.
