Where I’m confused is there was no sentiment for Bruce staying a week ago. Universally despised. Why, when we have new owners, do we still have him?
Its a very weird situation. Sometimes I think I get it; other times I just don’t. The lack of communication is a bit bewildering, I thought they understood what we had been through?

I just think it’s the clause I keep referring too. A lot of people seem to ignore reality (not you mate in general) and that a legal clause is a legal clause.
He actually has a clause in his contract saying if we are still in the PL he can’t be sacked. He can only resign.
He had a 3 year rolling contract.
Bruce will shamelessly sit there saying **** like he's looked at what other facilities managers have and only been able to work with what he's had.
The fact he's had the 8th highest amount of money in the league and we're worse than what he inherited will be erased from history.

He's also going to suddenly change his tune and say things like the fans are the best and shouldn't be where we are.
If he does that I probably won’t watch it again. Was looking forward to it and if he shows any kind of grace then I’ll be watching, but if he acts as you say Roy then he can **** off.
I'm fairly confident that's what he'll say based on his behaviour over the 2 years.
We'll see and I'm still hopeful it's not him but I think it's going to be him until they can get someone they want and not just anyone.
I can bet you whatever you like no such clause exists. No way has Mike Ashley put that clause in. He's been bitten by managers in the past. He falls out with people quickly. No chance that clause exists.
He actually does have the rolling 3 year clause in his contract provided we stay up. That is all that Ashley was bothered about. Google it.

Mate I can google is the earth flat? And find that it is. 3 year rolling contract perhaps. A clause where he can't be sacked in the prem, no way. That means if we were in a relegation fight we couldn't sack him to try and save ourselves - a bit like the current situation.

I have read that his 3 year rolling contract triggers at the end of each season. That provided we stay in the premiership it can be enacted.
If he is sacked mid season he does not have the opportunity to succeed in his contractual right. Thus if he gets sacked it’s a breach of contract.
It’s a perpetual contract based on performance: if he is sacked then he has been refused a contractual possibility. Meaning it’s a breach of contract.
