I dunno, I just have an odd feeling that the consortium have missed a free hit here. Manager bounce, Spurs in all kinds of bother, not playing well, wave of optimism carries a victory, onward and upwards. Instead they're letting Bruce stay - a man with no support, no clue, who will almost certainly **** it all up on Sunday.

In that case then I say let him **** it up.

Honestly we can’t really lose here (I know we can lose the game but hear me out) as if he wins we get 3 points and he possibly leaves anyways. And if he loses it proves he isn’t capable.

Either way he goes.
 
So Bruce will be here on Sunday and still here until a replacement is found. They originally wanted an interim, now they're looking at long term managers. So there is a slight possibility Bruce could still be here at the end of the season.

2 managers they've approached have turned them down - Rafa and Rodgers. They're now looking at Fonseca.

Pretty much "I want that ****ing job, the toon's gaan to be buzzin, if anyone deserves it, it's the geordie fans. It's unfair on Steve as he's in the job but he wouldn't want anyone feeling sorry for him, I will have 1 eye on it this weekend"

Crikey. Get him in now. It’s a trial run for the Liverpool job. When we are finished with him of course.

He'll know he's not guaranteed the Liverpool job and that an offer of such a good project might not come again.

I think it's more realistic than plucking Rodgers from Leicester anyway
