As North Easterners we know only too well how important someone's job is. But here goes. We want some sort of managerial combination that will get us one win in five. Any match will do though preferably sooner than later. Who or what combination can do it? Well not an Ian Dowie or Shearer type - they tend to fail when shoe horned in at short notice/ and its too late for a Hodgson WBA type rescue.
I like Steve Bruce but maybe he needs advice? Maybe a Venables/Robson type combination - bring someone in to work with Bruce for the last few matches. Yes its humiliating and Robsons's haunted face never recovered and maybe Steve Bruce wouldn't recover, but maybe there is someone who can make that vital tactical observation/substitution to win a match? Or maybe even SNQ in the dugout with SB ? To show solidarity?
