Its the only logical conclusion I can draw. He'll be playing Fleetwood next season, or maybe not. Derby will be league one but I think Fleetwood might get promoted
He sets up excuses before the game also.... Im beginning to feel sorry for him because he just isn't good at the job, but my god he's got thick skin
He's tough, he was a tough defender. The man literally lets everything bounce off him, that I can respect as I simply don't have that capacity. I'd have quit by now.
To be honest I also agree with this aswell. We can’t really compare the two mind. I think Joey would be doing better with our set of players but the other side of the coin is MA just wouldn’t ever go for someone like Joey because Joey isn’t a yes man. Bruce is just happy getting paid a lot of money for doing a **** job. But he’s still there because he toes the line. MA does not want a Joey. He wants a Steve.
He hasn’t got 52k Geordies screaming at him which is also favouring Steve. He said we are missing the fans as that helps but actually when you think about it we would be shouting at him and it would actually be worse right now. ****ing lucky Steve Bruce’s luck is running out now. Even some pundits are questioning it.
If we were in a relegation battle, he would still deflect the blame on to other people and the media would lap it up, the fact that 18 months later and they're still finding any excuse to rip in to the former manager rather than looking at Bruce says it all.
It's make or break time over the next 5 games.. He needs to go 4 2 3 1 and have a go at these fixtures or he's had it
We do not get maximum points from the next four games then he needs to be sacked and strung up. No excuse.
The beginning of the media and Brucie friends turning...hopefully. Alan Shearer speaking on Match of The Day: “The manager has to take responsibility because he sent the players out. “They were very negative. “Nowhere near enough ideas going forward but also players have to take responsibility. “They have to be braver in possession, work harder closing people down. “Lascelles as a captain and a leader has to stop demanding protection from midfielders in front of him…and Allan Saint-Maximin hasn’t broken sweat since signing his new six year contract. “Nowhere near enough and if you stop going forward, you are inviting pressure on yourselves. “There were nowhere near enough bodies going forward…people prepared to commit to going forward. “It is negative. “Their first thought is going backwards and you are never going to score enough goals playing like this. “Second half was a little bit better and they [Newcastle] created a few more chances but [overall] it was the same thing. “Too many times this season that is Newcastle. “Too negative and not going to score goals.”
Looks like Eddie Howe could have better offers https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/could-we-attract-eddie-howe-or-big-sam.1534211/ Eejits
They stopped comparing him as soon as the pendulum swung... I said right from the day it started that right now he's living off rafas foundations and in time Bruce's weeds would show through
God them stats are ****ing piss. But we shouldn’t expect much. We are only a tin pot club in the NE and according to the media we want to win the Champions League. When in reality a shot on target would get us mildly turned on.
Bruce's being sussed out now though.. Of he loses the next couple of games even the media will be on him
hahahaha I see that on their board a lot "we need to attract Sam back" morons genuinely forget they're in league one sometimes.
