The commentators today including Steve mcmananan where basically saying “what is the plan, they are at home and playing for damage limitation” What is the point?
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that Joey Bartons Fleetwood are absolutely smashing League One, scoring tons of goals and looking dark horses for promotion. Dya think he'd take the Newcastle job? Of course he ****ing would.
Scoring a lot, but also conceding a lot. They're winning just as many as they are losing, the only thing in their favour is they're not drawing games.
You pair of nuggets realise he's managing Fleetwood ye? A small club that were barely scraping mid table before his arrival? He's done very well there, they play better than us. We scrape survival by lumping 6 at the back, quite literally anyone could do that. Its actually embarrassing to football we are in the premier league, we steal a spot. Its a fact, he would do a far better job with our players They're five points off top ffs
Oh and for the record. I would take him over Bruce any day because although he talks a lot, it’s not bullshit. Unlike Bruce who’s a knob!
Theyre five points off top. Your implying he's somehow not smashing the league. They've scored 9 in 2 games
Bruce said last night "I dont want to make excuses, but we've played 3 of the top six." What the **** is that Bruce hahaha The man is a dolt
Rafman, they've scored 24 and conceded 13. We've scored 10 and conceded 15. Fleetwood have conceded less goals than half of the premier league. If Rafa had only conceded 13 you'd be ****ing in a jar and mailing it to sky.
13/14 - 4th - league 2 promoted. 14/15 - 10th 15/16 - 19th 16/17 - 4th 17/18 - 14th 18/19 - 11th 19/20 - 5th 20/21 - 7th For 7 years they've been a solid mid table league 1 club who have the odd season where they make a push for the playoffs. Barton is doing well, but he's not doing amazing.
They have gone from a midtable side to fighting prmotion yearly. 5th last season, season ended during another goalscoring unbeaten run. 7th this season, theyve scored 9 in 2 and won 4 in 5. They've conceded less goals than half the prem side and scored just under double what they concede. Their stadium holds 5k. Less than Tranmere Rovers. He's doing amazingly, I've been following them from day one since his arrival, the improvement is absolutely plain to see, they're way better. I'm sure you can pull a stat out of your vagina about some minor detail but football is straight forward. They score more, finish higher and concede little. He's also capable of ripping heads from shoulders, our lot need a regular bazooka up their bellends.
I'm sure he says this **** in the boardroom and they nod like ****ing baying idiots "Mm, yes, you make a solid point Brucie!"
@Welshie is correct. Your own stats show that he's taken them from a mid table team to promotion challengers
Rafman is the statsman. But he offers zero context for any stats he gives, it all leads to the same eventual conclusion. Rafman wants his chosen candidate to get the job.
