Yes, I saw that beat Cambridge away. Cambridge haven't been doing so well since Max Clark left them, must be a omen there.
It’s an interesting appointment. They really didn’t get on at City and - I might be wrong - but I don’t think they’ve worked together since.
But apart from City, Preston, Southend and now Swindon when have the pair of mutual despisers ever worked together?

Edit - just seen he wasn’t assistant at Southend. He was latterly appointed ‘football coordinator’.

I witnessed countless blazing arguments the like I’ve never seen in my life. Horton was the one telling him to quit the ubiquitous media stuff and concentrate on the job.
Maybe Brown appreciates that professionally he’s far from a Yes Man.
Brian Horton was a great Player-Manager with us back in the 80s. Good to see him working with Brownie.
