I suppose Nurburgring was the last REAL! great showing for Lewis and the last good race Massa had was...
With Lewis being rated as a racing god by his more ardent fans and the press and Massa is somehow not the racer he was before his accident and is now sub standard in a car that is not a match for the McLaren, how come they always seem to be on the same piece of track to run into each other? Surely Lewis should be miles ahead and they should never be anywhere near each other!
I think Massa turned in when he saw Hamilton dropping back. He did not turn in until that point. Perhaps Hamilton was just looking for an excuse for his poor form relative to Button!
Maybe Hamilton and Massa should be sent off for driving lessons? That might make them stop smashing into each other.
I agree with you there, he has certainly gotten better since the kick up the ass. Get Webber out, I dont think he'll ever win again in his career.
Maybe Red Bull are happy with Webber being unable to challenge Vettel? Surely it's gonna hurt them next year in the constructors title? McLaren have 2 fast drivers, and will regularly score podiums. Red Bull will basically just have Vettel, and his points alone won't be able to take on two McLaren drivers.
I think that Red Bull have the Webber situation covered, and have a pretty good system in place. Firstly, he's clearly been put in his place, and probably had to knell before Vettel n order to sign his new contract at Seb's feet. However, just to be sure, Reb Bull will probably start next year with a similar strategy where Mark will get "experimental" parts and strategies that ensure that he start most races well away from Seb so that he can't get any ideas above his station as he did in 2010. He'll still pick up plenty of points, as he has this year. They won the constructors with many races to spare without Mark winning a race, or getting all that many podiums.
Totally agree, Seb's always been their blue-eyed boy, but it's highly likely that both McLaren and Ferrari will challenge Red Bull next year so will need Webber on song if only for the Constructor's. Likewise with Ferrari, is Massa going to prove to be a liability? As much as I like the bloke, he's not the Massa of old and IMO they should offload him as soon as.
ooooooooookay, Just had the pleasure of reading several pages of people saying Hamilton was in the wrong and his fans should accept it. Hamilton was in the wrong and I have seen his fans accepting it so it was a little odd to see it being said over and over.
Yet again we seem to have members leaving due to arguments, arguments over nothing, arguments that don't even need to be arguments as both sides essentially agree with each other. Some of you may not have noticed but there have been a few comments deleted in this thread from people overstepping the line, the house rules are hardly draconian so please try and abide by them. We can all make little mistakes and say things we later regret, and that's fine, but if we make a habit of it then I'm afraid punishments will follow.
