What the guy said on Saintsweb will do me 2 to 3 players one of them on loan.
Only 2 to 3, must be on the very moderate wing of Saintsweb
We clearly need a striker and bringing SG into a team struggling for goals wouldn't be ideal. He should stay where he is
... and we don't need to get rid of anyone, just get another striker in
I am concerned about losing Boufal in January though. How quickly can Morocco be knocked out?
We aren't too far away from the same spot we were last year, so a good run of form could always get us 7th.Leave him there, don't think we will sign anyone in Jan unless a player we want is available at a reasonable price, which is unlikely in January. Our season is effectively over in my view, apart from the League Cup, so wouldn't want us to massively overspend in Jan to finish 10th rather than 14th

Also, the fa cup hasn't even began and you're writing us off. At least have some hope! Without hope, well, we don't have much!
Obviously with the attack we have, it doesn't fill us with confidence. But with our defence we could keep a clean sheet against any team on the world if we play to our best, so if we grab a lucky goal from a set piece (or jay finally takes an easy chance) then we can beat anyone!Tbf I said the same thing at roughly this point last season. We are a mid table side so are bound to have seasons like this. You are of course right about the FA Cup, but it is a trophy the big clubs take more seriously so can't really see us doing much damage in it, unless we get a lucky draw throughout (like 2003)
uh hmmm!Well I'm sorry but slagging a good player off because he hasn't scored immediately after a major injury just isn't on. He has only this week played his first 90 minutes. The manager sees him train every day and picks him. You see him miss 2 crosses and he's too slow. I really hope he scores a couple against Bournemouth. I really don't like the slagging off of OUR players!
Still only one game. But I am pleased for him. Jay is very much a work in progress.uh hmmm!
I hate to say this, but come on Liverpool tomorrow!
So many teams to hate now that I pretty much want every game to be a draw! My top 4 in no particular order, Liverpool, Spurs, Everton and Man Utd (the latter, just because they are Man Utd!).Would prefer a draw tbh. Really don't want Liverpool to win anything this season, and if they could contrive to miss out on 4th spot, that would be great.

In fact a nice dose of Norovirus putting both squads out of action for 6 weeks or so wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?I would prefer a draw and multiple niggly injuries to both teams.
Especially to Liverpool's attacking players.
Oh, and a few red cardsthat lead to 3 match bans (4 after the appeals fail), would be very nice.
