I'd say getting it reduced to a 2 match ban isnt too far out of the question. Didnt Rooney get his actual blatant straight red for that kick changed to a 2 match ban aswell? :S

They didnt act to ban him, they merely didnt act to rescind the automatic 3 game ban that followed a straight red. Bit of a different situation
Usually more chance of getting a ban overturned if the player has been sent off, rather than charged by the FA like Cabaye.
Seems there's more of a chance of me winning the lottery than there is of Cabaye getting off.
