A somewhat drab restart for the Hornets, which may have been predictable, but none of us actually did predict 0-0. Highest score of the round was by Mrs Andy and the second highest was by Paul. Mustyfrog still leads but there is a rattle of chains just behind him as theghost cut the lead down to only 17 points. For many of us it was difficult getting back to league action - particularly when the World Cup is still going on. When I started the other league I wasn't aware that our two leagues would be running simultaneously for a time and some posters may not have been on the ball as far as the restart here was concerned. When it comes to late posting ie. posting of tips for matches which have either already started, or which have finished, I have accepted this under some circumstances but don't like doing it - nor do I like rejecting tips, so I'd ask posters not to place me in that position. All still very close with nobody really pulling away from the field and only a hundred points separating the top 10, so everything to play for. ​

All change at the top this week as Musty decided to wait for the rest of us and Hackney took all advantage from this with the top weekly score of 121 to move into first place ahead of theghost with Charlie remaining in third. Second highest of the day was Seb with 98. Still very close as we move into the festive season. Good win for the Horns which several of us predicted.​

Here is what the new table looks like as we get close to saying goodbye to 2022. A miserable weekend for the Hornets and very low scoring on here. The one notable exception being a massive score of 123 by Simon - his Dad would have been proud of that. This was by far and away the highest of the day. Hackney also did well and has extended his lead at the top with theghost's chains still rattling menacingly in second. Mrs Andy very definitely has the bragging rights in her family and moves up into third. ​

A great result for the horns today, which only one of us tipped correctly and consequently was able to reap hay. This, together with the Blades late equalizer at QPR gave Hackney a monster score (the 1-1 at Loftus Road was a unique scoreline which was slightly surprising). Theghost did well not to let it become a one horse race with the second highest score of 111. So the first two in the table got the two highest scores which stretches the table out a bit, but still a long time to go. Elsewhere it is all very close and one good, or bad, week can have a large influence on the table with only about 60 points separating 3rd from 12th place. We now have a short break on here for the FA Cup next weekend. ​

Another good result for the Horns and an explosive round on here.- late goals at Watford, Cardiff, Sheff Utd, and Reading had a great influence on where the points went on here. Really the last 5-10 minutes plus stoppage time can change everything here. Highest score of the round was a highly impressive 153 by Mrs Andy moving her up into third, Andy didn't do too badly either with the second highest of the day (119) allowing him to move up 6 places. Most significant for the table was that theghost also did very well with 110 drawing him up onto Hackney's shoulder. With really not so many points separating 4th from 12th place changes can happen very quickly, even at this late stage of the season. ​

Something of a family group effort from 3rd to 5th <eek> Elsewhere it was a day of miserable scoring for most of us with one of the lowest average scores ever. A disappointing two points dropped by the Horns, which none of us got right.​
