OK, I'll accept that. I still think they are a club of substance though, and they'll be a good addition to the PL, if only to shake the tree a little. Perhaps the plastic fans you mention will manage to Google the route to their own stadium, next August..? Besides, what really bores the living daylights out of me is the same clubs being successful year after year until someone mentions that they have some apparent le god given right to be where they are. Hopefully Saints will accompany Reading in messing up the plans of the so-called glamour clubs who, let's face it, probably have the largest proportion of long standing plastic fans of the entire UK.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the debate between Jake and SecondStain, both having made good arguments. However I find myself in agreement far more with SecondStain, especially his appreciation of what Reading have achieved. Jake, I did go to Rochdale and sadly saw Saints lose, in a neat little stadium offering a super view of the game, and enjoyed talking with very friendly and sporting home fans.
