Would you prefer me to tell you how much tax over the last 20 plus years?

There are poorer countries outside of the EU but **** them they are located in a different continent .

You're against Foreign Aid too ffs.

Me too; some of the monies from wealthy 'Aulkd Reekie' subsidises these poor c**ts in English seaside resorts and poverty stricken 'fishing' towns!:emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl:

I used to travel around Scotland on Head Office Relief for HM Revenue and Customs in the late 1980's and early to mid 1990's. On assignments in Peterhead I would deal with the 'Fishing Boats' where a medium sized boat would have the father/principal owner earning profits of over £300, 000 per annum and his sons receiving, say, £200,000 a year as their partnership share of the profits . Some of the larger boats would have partnership share levels up to £500,000. I wonder how much the non owner crew members were paid.

These well off individuals would visit the local car showrooms and buy a new Mercedes with cash notes.

Working on a fishing boat is undoubtedly hard and arduous work with long spells away from home in dangerous seas however it is dangerous and difficult for the whole crew. To see the boat owners grumbling on the telly about their levels of income is a f****n' joke!

Mrs Reid, phoned her local newspaper to put in a death notice for her hubby.

She wanted them to print 'Peter Reid fae Peterhead is Deid'.

The newspaper guy asked 'Is that all?" "For the same money you can have another 3 words"

'Aye okay." she says put in "Peter Reid fae Peterhead is Deid. Volvo for sale".

Having worked on the boats I can tell you that the crew make a very decent living. If the catch is good. A percentage of the profit on each catch is paid. Some trips of 2/3 weeks can see you pocket 6/7 grand.

This was a few years ago though.
