I'll think about your wise words on my hike around Lake Louise this afternoon.
You are at Lake Louise and spending time on here? And you go on about showing people how to,
enjoy life?

I'll think about your wise words on my hike around Lake Louise this afternoon.

the government could have done all of this before, including training more doctors & nurses & teachers and building hospitals and schools to cope with the increase in population. many of the things people are complaining about weren't the fault of the EU, they were the (in)actions of our own government - who were happy for other parties to take the blame if it took the pressure of them.
As it is, nothing will change, so who are you going to blame in 5 years time when it still takes 3 weeks to get a GP appointment and the kids are taught by TAs as there aren't enough teachers..
If they thought there was uncertainty in Sterling against the dollar today, just wait until November 8th. Any losses that have been moaned about by banks they will get back in spades. Two candidates hated for different reasons. If Trump gets in the dollar will go into meltdown and it wont rectify itself in a day.The FTSE 100 has recovered and will close the week (2%) higher, the FSTE 250 hasn't faired as well, but has recovered from an opening 12.3% drop to being 7.3% down. The dollar rate is still down (about 5% on the start of the week), but the euro rate has barely moved.

Well done to everyone who voted for Boris Johnson to be the next leader of the Conservative Party. A snap General Election with a rudderless Labour Party is all we need.
The thought of him as Prime Minister and Donald Trump as President of the US is just too much.

The thing is, we were in a club. A club that did offer lots of safety and stabilty. Everyone in it together, trying to help each other.
However, if by leaving, we're faced with (as the doom mongers say) financial meltdown, dark times, alone with no friends and no one to trade with, then questions about the 'club' must be raised. If you only want to stay in a club because you're so scared to leave then the club's integrity must also be questioned.
Back in '75 if the voters were told, "if you join Europe you will have safety, free trade and many many friends. However in 40 years time the club you've joined will be so exclusive and so powerful that your population will be so scared of leaving, you'll have almost no option but to stay. Even if you want to go, you could be crippled financially and be all alone in the dark.." Would we have voted in? Probably not.
Yes I am being extreme here. But I'm trying to point out the monster the EU has become.
Now that we're out we have chance to get ourselves back on track. It may take time but it may not be as bad as some remainers say.
If other countries follow suit in a few years, we will have had the head start. We will be standing on our own two feet again by then and leading the way. The EU could be about to become very very messy. I'm glad we got out first.
Also to some of the bitter bitter remainers: there were so many eligible voters who didn't know who to vote for. Didn't know what to do. If the Remain campaign had any sort of cohesive argument for us staying in, those fence sitters might have voted your way.
If being 'in' was so good, why didn't your campaigners make a decent argument to sway people?
There was no decent argument. The only argument boiled down to 'better the devil you know'.
Take it on the chin and now get behind your country and help make it prosper. Our country will survive. Best in the world.
A victory at last for the put-upon majority of provincial English, ignored by the BBC and commentators who regard London as a barometer for Britain. A victory for self-determination over subjugation. A victory over the Posh Boys to the right and the Posh Boys and girls to the left. A victory over Gordon Brown, Trevor Phillips, Polly Toynbee, Owen Jones, Mark Easton, Caroline Lucas, Harriet Harperson, Dimbers, Hull City Council and every other "Shut up , we know best." **** who has inflicted their bullshit EU multiculti medicine on us for too many years. The thing is, we were in a club. A club that did offer lots of safety and stabilty. Everyone in it together, trying to help each other.

Thousands died Obi, prior to it being set up. In the 20's 30's and prior to that. There was an enormous parliamentary struggle to create the NHS that lasted 2 years. The demand for change came from the millions of workers who fought in the Second World War and said no return to the 1930s. So whilst it is true no-one died in the battle to create the NHS, its also true it was won as a result of the sacrifice of hundreds and thousands of British soldiers and civilians killed during the war.
The same is true for free education.
It should be made compulsaryThey are going to have to get the younger generation off their arses and off social media. At the moment it is too much effort to put a cross on a bit of paper for a lot of them, 43% of young people didn't vote in this referendum apparently.
No party would ever bring it in. Why? because they'd be too scared to know how they would vote.It should be made compulsary

Bit like yesterday. Greatest day ever today.
I've never voted in a general election in my life cos i've never seen anyone I'd want to represent me or any party that represents me or what I believe in. Until this vote.
First things first.
Lets start deporting every ****ing murderer, rapist, ***** that have come from Europe with free entry here back to where they came.
Some remainers on FB & Twitter have been a ****ing embarrassment to themselves today.
