You think you would influence others? <laugh>

Comedy Gold :emoticon-0148-yes:

I don't mean on here, I've not stated my leaning in this issue to anybody. And yes it could influence others, isn't that why everyone shares political opinions? Otherwise we wouldn't have this thread. Why did people discuss it if it wasn't to influence others?

Do they still? They'll be the EU's little darlings, just to prove a point. The red carpet will be rolled out for them with champagne and those little cheese biscuit things waiting on trays.

Aye, and they're welcome to them. :emoticon-0103-cool:

So what makes you so special? <confused>

Excellent news.

The Scotch voted to stay in the UK.

It's almost like they think they can have their cake, eat it, and eat ours.
She's stuck between a rock and a hard place. She can get an exit referendum passed and join the EU as an absolute minnow and hope that they're stagnated economy actually grows, or she can stay here with a government which now has a mandate to make it work in the UK where the economy is as now solid and has the potential to thrive as is the case with Switzerland and Norway. If they go, do we reinstate Hadrians Wall and put up check points..?

The German, Spanish and French stock markets have dropp. by double the fall of the FTSE.
They should have shown more concern for our issues. For better or worse it appears that as a nation we wont be pushed Lets get stuck in start making deals and push on. The look on Merkals face is just icing ob the cake.

The 51% who voted leave. I thought that was clear from my post.

I couldn't have put it better myself.

It doesn't seem that long ago, that you were adamant that you'd never say which way you voted, Are you a politician?

Edit
Whoops, I see Fez beat me to it.

This morning we were driving through Morden High Street and it looked quite deserted. My wife, who's originally from Poland, asked: "Have the Eastern Europeans gone home already?"
NB She's a British citizen having arrived in the UK in the 1980s.
