Match Preview;
So next up a trip just down the road to our neighbours, then we have a week, yes a whole week, before our next game. Barring cup ties, this could well be our penultimate trip to Griffin Park as the Bees are set to move to their new stadium for the start of the 2020/2021 season. With a pub on each corner it'll be a sad ground to see go, however, having been to Griffin Park a number of times, it is not a surprise they are moving to somewhere bigger and more modern.
They've been doing ok this year, and now sit one point and one place above us, with three wins and two losses from their past five. Neal Maupay has netted 19 times for them this year and so we'll need to watch out for him on Saturday. I must confess, growing up in West London I always considered Brentford our lesser neighbour, but giving them that label would be unfair at the moment. They seem a well run club heading in the right direction.
As for us, I, like many others, was pleasantly surprised by a very good display and fantastic win on Tuesday. If we continue that level of performance I have hope we could register a good win on Saturday, but maintaining that level is not easily done. Hope has been rekindled though.
I'll post team news/further preview when on the official, but enjoy those who are going and...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
