If we are ever going to get Brendan then we had better act quick as there are already 4 teams with his name on top of their list and once the season ends i can see more teams wanting him...

I suspect the deal's done.

I doubt that very much Aussie, Brendan is not that stupid that he would commit himself to anyone at this stage and will wait until the season is over to see what is out there......He will go with whoever pays the most and the bigger the club the better the chance of getting him....Should he go where the money is and that is his wage and what money he will get for players then our chances are slim while Jenkins is the chairman.......I can still see Jenkins sticking with Guildo anyway as that's his style and that would be one big mistake imo...

I agree with that Dai. I'm not sure what we're going to do but the hype about Rodgers recently saw the odds of him joining us drop like a stone. It's gone quiet again now. Who knows? Maybe he agreed that if Guidolin keeps us up .....? Hope to god Guidolin isn't here in August.

Not sure about Rogers, may start well but could slip away with results like Monk did. They say never go back.
One thing the team needs a major rebuild, Gomis out for obvious reasons and the back four needs restructure with Rangel and Taylor need to be fringe players rather than starters. Need more drive from midfield also. Allen would be good to come back.

^^^ Excellent post this, especially the bit about Allen, as Allen is very much underrated by many, but he's a terrific midfield dynamo, which you will see for Wales this summer, would love Huw to bring him home, come on Huw you know it makes sense............<ok>

He's better than Ki and Fer and I'd now put him right on par with Leon.

A midfield of Cork, Joe and Gylfi could be great.

Well said, and remember the endorsement he had from the evil genius? Bodde rated him highly, and Allen gained great experience from playing alongside Bodde, so that's good enough for me, besides my eyes don't deceive me.........<ok>

Joe is a very good player and i see he has put on a bit of muscle since he has been with Liverpool, He looks a better all round player and worth £10m of anybodies money. I would have him back as a replacement for Leon any day of the week....

I would actually buy him and use him to build the rest of the team around. He is young,he is quality imo and he is a local lad you know will give us 100%.

I think we can forget Brendan this time as it looks like Guildo is going to be given another season according to my friends on the trust.... a big mistake i reckon but ill back him if there is no choice....

We'll find out tomorrow Dai if Brendan is at the stadium or not. Rumours were that he'd be there tomorrow.
