IF, Rodgers comes back (and I for one hopes he does not), he should have a clause in his contract that he cannot bring any of his rubbish signings he made for Liverpool with him and that includes Joe Allen. I see one lad on here seems to love the wee man, why, I have no idea, Allen is average at best, far better out there. Perhaps its our scouts that need shooting for unearthing some of the crap we have signed over the past 3-4 seasons however the real culprit is the person who gives the final Yes/No (whoever that may be?)

I keep hearing this, but can someone tell me, who is out there that we could sign that is better than Joe and is the perfect replacement for Leon? And for me, Joe is far better than average.

depends how much money one is prepared to spend Valley, could have signed Alli last year but didn't, if Newcastle go down I would try and get Wijnaldum (no idea what he is on), there is a guy over here who I think will go far and would be worth a punt called Aaron Mooy (perhaps I should write a letter to our scouts), I dunno mate, hard to say but I don't think Allen is the answer

tbh I do wonder what our so called scouts do with their time. in the last week I must have watched 20-30 wc/afc qualifiers from all over the world and have seen many players who would be worth a punt, we come up with schecter eder etc etc etc

This post sums up why our scouting system needs overhauling Musty. Along with a few other things off the pitch. Dare I say it, but after the shambles of the last two years the club needs an overhauling from the highest level to the lowest both on and off the pitch.

I think we have more chance getting Joe Allen than Brendan to be honest as i think we will keep the walking dead for another season. I really hope not but i cant see jinx getting rid.....

I'm with Kiff on this, having Rogers back is fine - hopefully he'll get the team enjoyable to watch again, however de Boer fills me with more excitement - maybe because of the unknown. It would be a bit of a gamble, but so has every manager we've had in PL. It would have to be totally disastrous to be worse than the football we've seen the last 2 seasons.

I think Joe Allen has come on leaps and bounds and would have him back in a heartbeat, he gives energy and keeps the ball, which is what we like to see. He was by a country mile Wales best player in the recent internationals and would fit back in seamlessly to our squad, If Rodgers becomes new manager he will be back, I am not so certain if he doesn't.

Rangel and Gomis yes. Leon is still performing at a high class level.
