It's one thing for the fans to talk about wanting Rodgers to come back to the club in the summer , but a current player (Taylor) throwing his weight behind Rodgers coming back in the summer , through the media , is a disgrace IMO .
I guess Kingsley starting a few games ahead of him under Guido isn't sitting well with poor little Taylor .
First time since Taylor played us against Newcastle, back in the day , on who he was going to sign him that I have little to no use for Taylor .
A player expressing his basic hope to bring a manager in over a current manager should be addressed by the club.....................and won't .
Hope Taylor sits the rest of the season .
I must admit I was surprised to read Taylor's comments.

As always, he was probably asked a question and gave an answer. That said, he should have been much more circumspect. The decision isn't his to make.

As always and probably all in one sentence ....." I'm not really sure about the boards business , all I know is I'm training hard and getting ready to be picked for each game in case the manager picks me " would be the proper answer if he was asked a question .... hate to say it , but it's not rocket surgery

Wow - you really like scoring points don't you? Now the guy who makes more errors and spelling mistakes than Dai picks me up on grammar. <laugh>

Did you realise I'm agreeing with you? Come on it's not brain science. <laugh>

Grammar has nothing to do with you saying " As always , he was probably ......" , one defeats the other ....if it was just grammar it wouldn't be so ....well I won't say it
Also you can semi stick up for Taylor by deflecting some blame toward the journalist , not me though , he was being a pure arsehole to his current manager ....period

What's a semi stick up? Sounds rude. <laugh>

I was critical of Taylor if you read my post again but was merely pointing out the fact that he was probably asked a question by a journalist.

As I have to set out my reasoning....<doh>...."As always..." meaning that when players come out with stuff like this it turns out they were asked a question and were merely answering it. They don't just blurt it out. "Probably" was added as I don't really know if this was the case.

If that's too complicated ask one of your grandkids to explain. Nobody else seems to have trouble understanding it and you're probably not either. You sure you're not one of those weird Frenchie Canucks?

Even if Taylor was asked a question on bringing in Rodgers during the summer , do you thing Taylor answer is ok
If not , why even bring up if he was asked a question .
As always , your answer will probably be ..........
Oh dear god, you're enough to make me take up knitting. <doh>

What is it about "That said, he should have been much more circumspect. The decision isn't his to make." that you're having trouble with? That was in my post. I thought Dai was thick as a plank but really....

You never used to be like this - are you ill?

Your problem Aussie is that when you go back for a reread( which you conviently erased ) , is you don't re read your own .
You kicked this all off with post # 111 .
I was minding my own business till that point , then you had a go at me for my opinion .
I don't put anyone on the ignore button .....I just " Steer Clear " .....

Wow. That was on P6. Hold a grudge mutch? <laugh>

I stand by every word. Here it is again.

"I would keep Guido over ANYONE"

Based on what? It can't be on what we've seen so far. Guidolin isn't planning for the future here despite what you say and Brendan's attendance at the next game has confirmed that. Whatever you want it isn't going to happen, thankfully.

As for you wanting Jenkins 'out the door', another thing that isn't happening any time soon. As Valley says, Guidolin was hired on a short term contract with one simple brief - keep us up. Job done, so thank you very much. Now **** off and take your negative, ****e football somewhere else.?"

Now....can you please tell me where I "had a go" at you for your opinion? You do realise that the last sentence was directed at Guidlolin, not you? <doh> I disagreed with you and said so - that sometimes happens on a forum. <ok>

If you want to "steer clear" maybe you should try harder because you seem to be going out of your way to pick fights.

Looks more like it was directed at me Aussie , and that's the way I took it and will take it in the future

What? FFS!!!

Why would I say to you in the context of talking about Guidolin: "Job done, so thank you very much. Now **** off and take your negative, ****e football somewhere else.?"

If I'd meant it for you I would have said so!

Try engaging brain, muttonhead! You are seriously annoying me now!<grr>

OK, I'm out of here before I say something. I've had conversations with potatoes more enlightening.....and the potato wasn't deliberately trying to wind me up. <laugh>
