Yes, they should win the popular vote these days, and they'll win it again.

But that what was the electoral college was founded for. To protect the new country, as it was then, from democracy, on which the constitution's founders were not at all keen, thinking it likely to be a tyranny of the majority, as they put it. They had something of a point.

Harris might be okay, although she appears to say what anyone wants to hear at any given time. But if it is to be her then she should be standing. She would be the best of the three, and the dishonesty inherent in allowing the current situation to obtain will come back to the Democrats. It is a certainty that Biden will not be able to serve four years.

I think reading your replies suggest that Trump may be a better option than Biden for this election. As such I don't really want to debate this a lot further for a number ofd reasons. Yes Biden has been a career politician, but as yet he hasn't been the man who calls the shots. Biden for all his failings, has empathy, Understanding of the common people, and is respected by members from both parties. Trump is a narcissistic, racist, self absorbed control freak. He is a pathological liar, misogynist, failed business man and totally unsuitable to run the largest economy in the world. If it wasn''t for the fact he has surrounded himself with pathetic sycophants then this moron would have been impeached and drummed out of public office months ago. But I do respect anyone's opinion of who they would like to run their country...you just read mine.

But, them's the rules. Al Gore almost certainly lost a tight one because of a similar, if much smaller intervention by Ralph Nader.

There were three candidates and Clinton got the most comfortably. Very different to the fact that Hilary Clinton got over 3 million more votes than the winner..

ever since Trump was elected the democrats have tried to bring him down,Russian collusion total lie cost to taxpayers for 3 years 47 mil, then impeachment total lie it was Biden quid pro quo,Racist can only be proven against Biden as he has been caught using racist terms, i can show the proof but your mind is made up, i respect your views but your reasoning is distorted, you watch CNN lies but you don't catch their redactions,whilst Trump has a lot of faults he is the lesser of the two evils, my preference for Trump is because he has stated he will give the UK a great trade deal where Pelosi and Biden say they wont and i love my Country and want whats best for it.

Yes. But the point is where did she get those votes?

Clearly not from where she needed them, in a few very traditional Democratic areas which she took entirely for granted, while busy gathering up more votes in Califonia when the state was an absolute guaranteed win. The college has always been there, and minority presidents are not a new thing, that's why Bill Clinton won in 1992, and Trump in 2016.

New york and Frisco got more votes than they had people they sent ballots out to dead people ones that had moved ect they were on average 25 % more than the actual voters they have, already Ilhan Omar democrat has already been caught vote harvesting i can post the video with the evidence if you want to see it as you wont see it on main stream media because she is a democrat, they only try to show Trump in a bad light.

God preserve us from any of those candidates on offer.

But it is worth remembering that Biden was forced to withdraw from his bid to become president around 1988. I'm old enough to remember this, if only for it's comical aspect .

He was caught out openly plagiarising, of all people Neill Kinnock! Others too actually, but really, Kinnock!

When presented with the evidence he lied about it. Then lied again. Then he threatened a newspaper with legal action. Then he withdrew.

What an absolutely shocking pair.

A hustling business man who basically knew how not be the odious Hilary Clinton, and a time serving party man, so far past his modest best, and with blindingly clear signs of diminished mental acuity, that he is kept from open pressers , mistakes his wife for his sister, says yesterday that he is running for The Senate, couldn't remember Ruth Ginsburg's name in the week she died, and has referred to Covid as " the thing " .

The very dog days of American politics. A vile pox on all their houses.

Whilst the Democrats bless their cotton socks, only have Antifa and BLM who are mainly peaceful demonstrators, who have only killed 43 up to date injured 123 with a 109 days of riots 50 billion worth of fire damage to business and looting mainly peaceful though.
