Even as a lower league fan, so pleasing seeing fans stand up to these greedy bastards.

Same. On a normal day, I can't stand London club fans, Utd fans or Liverpool fans but if they do this until each **** who owns them drops out of the ESL like flies, they have my respect.

Barcelona pulling out aswell.

Chelsea pulled out.

Man City considering it.

Even Liverpool are questioning it.

What HAS to happen is the club who have instigated this HAS to be held accountable and punished severely.

I suspect it’s manu or Liverpool.

My money is on manu.

ManU and Real Madrid

Man Uniteds owners name is on every single statement.

Shoot that rancid corpse out of a canon and feed his bloated body to the birds

Football has stood up. Massive respect to the fans of the clubs who protested.

What a monumental thing to do.

Class.

It’s time for football to be the purpose. This could potentially revolutionise European football.

Glazer will die before he gives up this.

And they’ll go back and collude for the same thing again in 12-24 months time.

They need to be shot, nothing else will suffice.

I don't want to see the fans punished when they are the ones fighting hardest to stop it, so ideally they can find a way to punish only the owners. But, if they can't find that way then they need to punish the clubs who signed up or what you say above is exactly what will happen.

I really hope this can be the catalyst for you to remove that scumbag from your club once and for all

There has to be some form of punishment for the clubs. The fans will accept that I am sure.

Some financial penalty. The money goes to grass roots football.

I would investigate who was the driving forces and ban them from Europe for 3 years.

The teams that felt pressured into it get a ban for a year.

There has to be a punishment for this breach or it will just be a means to the end.

The PL just need to requalify all owners under new laws and those who fail are given reduced powers, no vote, and reduced payments. Squeeze them dry until they choke to death.

Woodward needs thrown out, he’s committed the biggest crime against every club in the country. I hope his house gets torn to the ground the meatball faced cancerous ****.

Give them 24 hours to back down or face relegation to tier 5.

It’s a shame that it won’t result in a proper review of funding for all levels of football. IMO, I think the 3 yank owned clubs will soon be up for sale and the rest of the PL will breath easily again.

I'm a Leeds fan. There's nothing more I want in the game than a more even playing field even though we are now back at the top table. It's virtually impossible to compete further down the ladder. The Championship is an absolute joke to get out of when you have teams coming down and not just outspending you but outspending you by 60 or 70 million a season. It's a joke.

My missus works with a league 1 club as an accountant. They get approximately 1 million a season TV money. Leeds now get well over 100 million a year. Its way too big a gap. Ridiculous.
