But that’s how I feel too...I’m trying to understand why everyone is crying about winning trophies to get the invite when clearly it’s not about that...it’s about the money. You’re telling me these clubs are skint...that’s not even the point.

The clubs invited are the most financially valued clubs...simple as that so I dont get the rage at why teams like Spurs have been invited...you know why.

**** all to do with wether you or Comm thinks Everton are more worthy of the invite...so with that in mind I see exactly why Spurs got the invite.

Didn’t say I agree with what is happening

I'm just wondering what the financial model is for all this, especially after Spurs spent a Billion quid buidling a new ground, that's a massive investment that will take time to recover back.

The only way I can see the European Super League going is to Pay Per View TV, much the same as the boxing, American style, which it has been for decades in the states.

That model has never worked in the UK for the Premier League, because we've always been a subscription service, albeit the EFL did adopt Ifollow and charge fans such as myself during the pandemic matches at £10 a throw - I was willing to pay that, but it's already been shown, EPL supporters are not.

So it's all well and good the financial backers offering billion dollar incentives, but where's the money coming from, against a ground that is in affect already owned by the NFL not Tottnham Hotpur, just saying bruv. <whistle>

In the time between you last won the title, Leeds have won it three times in three decades and been relegated all the way to League 1 and promoted back to the Premier League <laugh>
And? Hull have played in the top-flight since we won the title. It's been a long ****ing time! <laugh>

The simple way to show this is true is just to reverse the question: If they're right, then why invite Spurs?

Yeah, but I'm under no illusion that Hull are anything but a small-to-medium sized yo-yo club. I don't pretend anything different.

We've still won as many European Cups as Supa Spurs :emoticon-0140-rofl:

You won't be leaving the league (in the ESL version) you just won't be playing in the champions league anymore and instead you'll be playing in this new thingy.

You've never won anything. Royal Engineers have won more than you and they're a part of the army.

Why would the fan of Hull give a ****...it’s never going to interfere with them in any shape or form

The SL won’t interfere with the Leyland DAF trophy ffs
