Just been thinking (in view of the jose sacking at spuds), does anyone think the clubs joining this ESL will have any problems recruiting players if FIFA ban them from international games and by extension maybe stopping managers from getting the players they want?

Yet setting the Prem alight as usual?

Honestly, do you actually believe you deserved an invite to this?
We're having a bloody terrible season, but it would be Sunderland's best Premier League one ever. 7th and a cup final? Unheard of.

Nobody deserves an invite to this stupid ****. That's almost the point of it.
They've invited the clubs with the highest revenue.
Wouldn't surprise me if they go after Schalke and they're doing a Sunderland in the Bundesliga.

Bare man hating on my team for being invited to the super league and Inadvertently justifying the participation of others

it’s like a social experiment where no matter what group is formed...Sub groups will form from within...amazing

we already bigger ****s than the rest for joining without having won owt <laugh>

this is my point you see..why should I give up on my team when it’s damned either way

suck up the Avatar...I’m joining the dark side

It's a weird one. My dad brought me up to want all the local teams to do well and I still do. He was a northern league ref and as a result got to know players who played on both sides of the divide, often the same player playing on both sides at different points in his career. I love the rivalry but haven't really engaged in any piss taking since you got relegated cos it's more fun when we're at the same level. I never want you to win but at the same time I want you to be back up close to us, but also hate it if you finish above us - even more than losing to you. I didn't want you to go down but laughed when you did. Come to think of it, my head's a bit ****ed up. Thanks Dad!!

The thing is, football is about decent people supporting the club they love - for good or bad. That's what this is all about too I guess. Fans coming together and putting aside rivalries for something bigger and more important. **** the bastards destroying our game and ruining clubs for people who love them!!

tru tho init....a part of these guise sub conscious is telling them...we get why certain teams are actually joining but why Spurs?

So they are justifying it...fuming through the medium of mass hysteria.
