Similar - my lad had a febrile convulsion when he was 8 months old - terrified the life out of me and he was rushed to HRI.

I honestly can't even begin to understand how they feel. He hasn't even had a life yet.

I hope he keeps fighting.

My youngest had a febrile convulsion when he was about 3 months old. The prompt action of a shopkeeper off Spring Bank and an ambulance driver who came the wrong way down a one way street made all the difference. I said to my wife it must have been awful as she was on her own, intimating I might not have got into such a state. When he as six months old he had another. I was very wrong about myself remaining calm. He had another at a year and about 2 years of age. Fortunately that was the last one. We are lucky as not that long ago a febrile convulsion, especially when anywhere remote, was often fatal.

Totally agree - I was absolutely terrified. He's 7 now and he's not had another. Since that day he's always been a bit mollycoddled as we thought we'd lost him that day.

What Bradley's parents are going through is far worse - unimaginable for me. To see terminally ill children is so wrong. I just find it gutting.

Agree Fez. Some position JDF now finds himself in. Will he be able tear himself away from that little lad. England opportunities?

Me too, mate. I can honestly say that everyone that I know up here are magnificent in their support and selflessness in getting behind the positives this sad situation has created. Folk realy are good. <ok>
