The scores at HT in the respective finals -

    BPPL Div II Playoff Final - @bluescull 2 - 2 @danablu
Any predictor worth his salt would have gone for Sanchez and Costa scoring in this final but neither of our punters foresee an Arsenal win, even if both of them predicted the correct 2-1 scoreline to the wrong team. As you started then with nothing between them, Mondays final will be a tense affair!

    Capaldi Cup Final - @irishbluebird 2 - 3 @Sayer77
A similar story to the one decided above, with the crucial difference being that Sayer picks Sanchez to open the scoring, and heads into the 2nd leg with a slim advantage. Irish will be confident that a point isnt too much of a gap to overturn and will still fancy his chances.

Monday then for the final predictions of the season! <cracker>

The final results of the season then -

    BPPL Div II Playoff Final - @bluescull 3 - 2 @danablu
A no scoring final at Wembley today doesn't spark much life into this tie and in the end, just like the real final, it is decided on the finest margins - Scull picks up a point for yellows cards and Dana doesn't. <cracker>That means that Bluescull is the 2017 Div II Playoff Champion! <cracker> And he will predict in the top division for the first time in his BPPL careers. Commiserations to Danablu, who now faces another season in the Div II, having finally come within a point of promotion!

    Capaldi Cup Final - @irishbluebird 2 - 4 @Sayer77
<cracker>That means that Sayer is the 2017 Capaldi Cup Champion! <cracker> No change in the result in this final tie, a point for Sayer on yellow cards ensures that he remains on course to become the first to defend the Capaldi Cup! And in the process he denies Irish a league and cup double! In the end then some success for Sayer meaning that he leaves Div I with some silverware!

That's all from this season folkes - might be back later this week with the results of the inquest and some stats! <ok>

Musty! It's the place to be. Too much money and prestige involved in the top league and all the real footie feeling has gone. Just ask Aber!!!!
