I wasn't having a go, it's whoever said it originally that doesn't make sense. That would mean that if he got injured for 4 days, he'd still be eligible to play because he hadn't trained.
Im not sure, it confused me, because teams could just take advantage of it easily. Abit like Watford this year, exploiting a loophole.

How much is interesting - surely can't be more than the 250k forest offered...
Presumably less?!

If we paid a fee at all? Wondered if another club sniffed to force us to pay?

(it is a loan - can't be a transfer due to the rules. BUT he is out of contract at the end so he HAS left Posh - just not joined us beyond the 93 days unless he has agreed some pre contract type thing?)

From the heart and with real passion. Brought a tear to my eye. Nice to have another player desperate to join us and push Hull City and himself to the PL. Someone should tweet this to DJC.

I am though surprised that it has been done today and not monday for 2 reasons. But hey ho......<cheers>

Welcome to Hull City George Boyd.

As for the Play-Offs ? they for others to worry about. imo

I believe that the emergency loan can be split up, so when there is an international break he will technically be made a peterborough player again, and then return to us afterwards so would not miss any games. Not 100% but that is my understanding
This is what someone said the other day.

happy with this, been a fan for a long time, it was made sweeter that i heard it break through from adrian durham and you could hear his pain <laugh>

dont understand the deal from peterboroughs point of view tho, all but condemned themselves to relegation.

lol at David Meyler tweeting Adrian Durham :

DM ‏@DavidMeyler

@talkSPORTDrive well it's a no brainer off a move if premier leagues what he wants it's where we're going!!

:D

Its a loan at first and he is out of contract in the summer so we have no doubt negotiated terms already

Can't make him stay if he wants to go - and they may well have got a loan fee rather than nowt in summer. I think they knew he wanted out and just got what they could. Not sure it is what they wanted, but he has had his head turned.

Actually you may have a point here with that. If you remove the 2 weeks International Break period (16th - 30th march) Boyd would be free for the Play Off Final. But i am not expecting us to need that this time. :emoticon-0100-smile

Just can't see your logic there. lost only two of our last ten games, (as you have), we are certainly not a one man team.

Hes an assist machine, wanted us to get him along with aluko at the start of the season, always wants the ball and drives forward at pace, alot busier than koren.

and the info i get is 3rd hand, so not always going to be 100 percent accurate, but hey ho ;)

Correct.

Next international break is the week-end of Saturday 23rd March.

By my reckoning May 27th (play-off final date) is 96 days away, so he'll go back to Peterborough for 3 days Friday, Saturday and Sunday that week-end and return on the Monday knocking 3 days off his loan period to bring it to 93 days.

The only possible problem in this scenario (if we were to play in the play-off final) would be if the game was postponed for any reason
such as a Royal death, terrorist strike or something similar..........

We know how you feel. We lost Michael Turner to Sunderland for peanuts as well back in 2009 and he was still under contract for 3 years.

I actually think that Peterboro have a better than evens chance of staying up. Bristol City have gone IMO and i still think that Wolves will go. Birmingham are also looking bad and IF the Posh beat them on saturday then wobble time. The relegation fight is as good as the promotion scrap.
