Boyd and Aluko

I was in the pub last night with a mate and we got to talking about team selection and tactics for next year.

I only saw City on TV this season, my question is simply can Boyd and Aluko play together, alongside Austin, Hooper, Holt or whoever it may be, in the same team? Has it Ben tried?

I can't recall Koren and Boyd playing together and both playing well, just wondering about the balance of the team, who compliments each other well and who is a replacement for whom?

How can they? aluko got injured in november, Boyd joined in feb.

I would think Bruce will have Boyd playing in the hole behind Aluko and Austin (if we sign Him) with Koren as his backup. I would expect the 4-3-1-2 line up to look something like this based on who we have signed so far. Schmeichel is in the GK spot because Alan McGregor is not in in the Futhead data base yet but he will probably be the GK.

I assume you're an expat living in Nanjing. Hope you'll be able to see most of our games on TV. Tiger Player shows the games but with a 2 day delay. Costs 5 quid a month.

Sorry, my mistake of course it couldn't have been tried, I was simply wondering if people thought it could work. Did Boyd and Koren together work? Koren and Aluko? With all of the names we have been linked with I wonder how many of them could play together or are simply alternatives for the same role.

Good players can play with anyone. Forget tactics and formations it is all about players.

btw....Curtis Davies tweeted a look-a-like picture of Boyd sat in a London pub over the weekend. It was not Boyd but showed a canny resemblence. Banter started early. Nice to see. Lol.

As long as Boyd isn't playing CM, then he'll be fine. A team with Koren, Quinn, Boyd and Aluko would be amazing to see.

Go on the Tigers official website (OWS) and there is a sign up link for Tigers Player. For 5 quid a month you get the live broadcasts of all the games from Burns and Swann...video highlights of the goals etc the same day...and the video of the full game two days a later. Plus a video archive of past games. Enjoy the season!

Stick with firstrow if it is accessible for you. Most matches should be available again.
