what the f**k does that mean Capitol, city mean ,only in your eyes do you think it has any bearing in your clubs' stature ,it means f**K all to the rest of the intelligengcy. crystal, palace fulham milwall.charlton , all play in a capital but you don't hear them bleat on about it. Pl at any price , good luck because if you're the majority of fans then you u deserve all you get.
Nothing to fight over , get real we were were fighting for the clubs existence. you had your chance of removing him but no your dreams of reaching the promised land far outweighed ant rational thought ,regardless of what division we were playing in that had no bearing on what we achieved , you're focussing on PL status as if it's the holy grail .
jck200 said on the liverpool board that its all malky's fault and tan has done nothing wrong.. delusion of the highest order. can't you see what is happened and will carry on happening as long as tan is there. he is a joke now and making cardiff into a joke club with him. I hope malky stands his ground until he is paid every penny he is owed plus bonuses and dont be surprised when players slap in transfer requests...
I would love to know where all this 'stand there and let it happen' and 'you do nothing about it' stuff comes from. As has been noted above the season ticket holders have paid their money, staying away wont harm Tan in the slightest. I thought that gate receipts were only a small proportion of premier league income anyway? Unfortunately as has always been the case the fans can do nothing but back their team and go along for the ride.
True ,moneies paid regardless of who actually attends the game so those are the figures quoted in attendance. the main money comes from TV and from the league, a large section of empty seats may focus his attendance but I honestly believe thats not what he gets his kicks from ,it' s the kudos of owning a club in the `PL league and the status that goes with it that is his driver.
Are we seriously supposed to think these fans from other clubs come here worried to death about us are sincere? Money talks and we have the money as we proved in the transfer market so if you cant afford to buy like us you are in more trouble than you think. Think before you speak...the season has a long way to go so some posting their concerns about us might soon find themselves in the bottom three at the end of this season. I posted on the Liverpool board as we are playing them tomorrow and have no idea what goes on here so I educated them. Sure we were happy to get promotion but mainly due to Watford and Hull losing the same time as us. Fans are far quicker to say sack the manager after three or four losses. We are not safe we are far from safe playing negative football and something has to be done about that because it is the team on the pitch we are really interested in not some squabble by a manager upsetting a guy who has invested over £100 million and cleared our debts. We were close to administration and without Tan would have nothing but it is hard to see any signs of appreciation apart from one or two here. I am furious that Malky has caused all this trouble away from the football. jck
Posted a response on our Board J, but don't know whether you saw it. More of a question really. You talk about Tan paying off your debts and investing money but last I heard he did it largely with loans. He reportedly promised to convert the debts to equity. So, are the debts in the club's name? Did he convert as promised? Genuine questions as I can't find confirmation that he did. We''ve had our own "investment" that was in reality leveraged debt and saw what it did to our club and we, with all due respect were probably in a better position to survive it....just. No false sympathy here, if you go under I'm sure we'll all go on watching football but there is empathy because we know how powerless as fans you can feel with egotistical owners that seem to make decisions based on whim and emotion rather than good business sense.
Hicks gillette used bank loans, paid by the club I believe? Without actually putting in that much/anything themselves. No bank in their right mind would secure £100m odd of debt against us. Therefore it's Tans own money. He has committed that any loans under £50m total will be 'soft' therefore interest free. In truth none of us know how much the club owes him but it's more than he'd get back if we went under. Liverpool as one of the big 2 clubs in England were always going to be able to attract proper owners in the end. People who realised the way to make money from the investment was long term like (sorry about this) Utd. Liverpool have that potential. We could easily be identified as another Portsmouth, buy Tan out cheap (if he wants out) then spend 3 years asset stripping the PL money and parachute payments then **** off back where every you've come from and leave the club with nothing but it's remaining fans. I believe a similar thing has happened at Birmingham that let us buy Jordan Mutch for £1m! Hopefully he'll show you guys today that's a nonsense.
This should be about football. Malky insists on a negative set up as was shown in the first half against Liverpool and only when the game was lost did he finally get the players on who should have started. Who the hell would leave Kim and Frazier on the bench? That is the question. Some games this season we have hardly had one shot...that is the wonderful world of Malkys style of playing if that is good enough for you it certainly isn`t for me. When we changed to red a lot said they would not support the team but here they all are still here moaning. If you do not like the owner or the colour go away there is no point in just going on and on about it is there. The first half today was a shambles that is the point here nothing else. jck
**** off back to the jax board you Canadian moosehead you clearly know **** all about football and just align yourself to Cardiff because you were driven away by people who saw through you on the other board.
We won 3 out of our last 14 games in the championship and 4 games out of 17 in the premiership that is a total of 7 wins in 31 games. I rest my case. jck
It has turned out that its not tans money it was the malaysian government who has made loans too tan with the promise of boosting the malaysian travel trade and other benefits. Well its not only this country who thinks he is a shyster his own country is furious with his antics......There is a lot of damage that can be done with a boycott as its not about money even though he will lose a hell of a lot if not many fans are there. Its the shame element as tan is so use to people worshiping the ground he walks on that he thinks he's god. well its dwindling fast in his country and by the fans not showing support to him in this country will destroy someone with an ego he has.
Talking to the wife on the way home Tan has a real opportunity here. If he backs down with a statement that says 'the fans have shown him the light on this one' he could settle this debacle right back down and actually come out of it not looking like a ****. If MM loses the 2 home games we have coming up by the time we get to Feb results will give Tan the ammunition and he'll have the fans on side. Plenty were ready to turn after the Palace game! If we do well in our next 3 home games including West Ham we'll be well on our way to safety and he can fund a spending spree for his new manager in summer. I think part of the desperation is to get the new man in with the window to add players, that's the bit that doesn't work in the above. Surely today has made Tan realise he may not be able to come back from this as owner if the club descends into chaos under a new boss. 3 or 4 bad results to start and the fans will want to lynch Tan and his new manager.
Most probably wishful thinking Steve, but who knows, he can't be all that stupid can he, any decent business man would take this as an opportunity.
I've accepted whatever happens, happens ! So to speak, but today was a very powerful message. The Liverpool fans were fantastic and clapped a couple of songs. They were very obvious in their support at the end too. On a football note (remember when we talked about that?) they're the best side I've seen so far. Suarez is utter utter class. I don't know how it looked on tv but Coutinhos touch 1st half before he hit the post is one of the best things I've seen live! I think everyone in the stadium was going the same way as the defender (KTC?). Poor Taylor will be having cold sweats about having to play Sterling again this season.
Not one of Taylors better games but he had no support whatsoever down that flank. They simply overloaded that side knowing he is not the quickest full back in the league.
