Boycott is the only way to force tan out and he really needs to go as he is making cardiff into a joke club. Malky should not resign as he has done nothing wrong, He should be thanked if anything and its tan that should go not him...get rid reverse every change tan has made and you will find the city come together. Use your premiership status to form a consortium and go from there as you will still have millions coming into the club..£60 million alone for survival in the premiership without other millions the club can generate over the season. Boycott just one match and force him out and if he is stubborn then Boycott the next home game and you can bet your life he wont stand for that as it will cost him a fortune with nothing much coming in....Its the only way if you want your club back and stop all this nonsense that tan is doing once an for all...
so some want malky more than tan>>>>>>>>>im not so sure about that tbh.......fk me most of you on here have been complaining about malks style for fking months>>>>>> and before anyone says it yes I`d rather go bust and start again at this moment in time>>>>>>>>>>but I know for a fact most of you(not 606 users in general-the ten thousand plus glory hunters) wont be there in the lower divisions with me........just like the good old days.
Look if you want lower league football go support Newport...times have changed and if you cannot change with them then go. We are a capital city and we want premier league football and that takes an owner willing to invest heavily and there are few of them around and certainly we were so lucky to get Tan. Malky was given a great job and plenty of money to spend so why are we playing such negative football? I thought his complete ignorance towards Tan after the last game in front of fans was disgusting. jck
JUst to point out the Ken Bates sold up because of a boycott from fans. That's the take from a friend who's a very big Leeds fan (I know, I shouldn't have one. He reckons it's the only way. Failing that we should all turn our backs on VT on Boxing Day.
Where would a boycott get you in the short term? There are 22k+ season ticket holders who have already paid their money so minimal effect on cashflow. Also, the team do not deserve to be boycotted. That idea is a complete no no.
You have your chance today while you are in the premiership to sort things out and should you get relegated then you wont become as attractive to would be buyers. Come on Tan is a joke and not just now but ever since he came to the club and can you honestly say it will get better under him...He is a businessman in the wrong business who knows absolutely zilch about football and is way out of his depth. He has been here nearly 3 years and have caused more controversy in that short time that you cant possibly stay very long in the premiership under his guidance. Good luck to you if you want tan but to the rest of the football world he is a big mistake and it will be too late once you lose your premiership status as a bargaining lever to get your club back to where it belongs...
Dai Please send us the contact details of someone with £150m to spare who knows something about and has an interest in football.
All I'm saying is that it can be effective in getting rid of someone. It all rather depends on the buyer, doesn't it.
Everyone needs to be careful just what they wish for. Portsmouth were driven to L2 and almost extinction by the worst kind of owner. If Tan decided to cut his losses due to fan pressure should we go down the protest route then who knows what is next. Forcing Tan out with no idea of the possible consequences is very short sighted imo.
Its only short sighted if you do nothing while you are in the premiership. Once you go down and you will under tan then it will become a problem.
Dai, I'm sure you are a straight up guy and someone, somewhere loves you. However, stick to what you know and leave business to others. Your concept that a boycott or something that the fans can do will get rid of Tan without probably irreparably destroying the club seems to come off another planet. Yes it was done in Swansea but there was f*** all to fight over at the time. Tan has 150 million to lose and the club has a ground, a training ground and a life in the premiership to lose. Your current directors chucked a quid on the table in loose change and the former owner accepted it. You now have a supporters trust owning x% (is it 20?) of the company and good for you. That is not going to happen at the moment for a club that has somewhat more value.
I wont be so sure if i was you looking at the news and reading reports. It does not look to me as if the fans want tan there and right through the football world you can sense that tan is heading for a fall and will take cardiff with him, nobody wants that. If its rotten to the core then cut the rotten bit out and make it better. keep the rotten bit and it will ruin you...
Dai, if you are referring to the "fans protest" outside the ground, there were only about 30 people. That's hardly a majority is it!
