I'm not McGregors biggest fan but I think he should against Nate and Mendez that he's not a quitter. Sure he tapped against Nate part 1, but that doesn't make somebody a quitter.

All three of his losses are submissions, not really surprising as he doesn't have a ground game, he panics when he's on the ground or when he tires.
Props to Conor for taking the Mendes fight on short notice when Aldo pulled out but Conor was being mauled by Mendes until Mendes gassed. Had Mendes had a full camp, there's no way he'd have tired like that.
The second Nate fight he ran for like two rounds. Crowd even started booing him for doing that. I know he got the early knockdowns but **** knows how he won the decision, judges probably got paid off so it set up a potential trilogy fight. 95% of pros all said Nate won.
GGG needs a KD in the 3rd fight, which should happen, the last 2 have proven he can't rely on the judges.
They weren't the craziest scorecards in boxing history, but I do think GGG won at least one of those bouts.
Hats of to Alvarez though for standing up to the shots. Steroids doesn't put muscles on your chin, so as much as he is a cheating scumbag, he has some heart. A black one.

You're kidding right??? He bossed the first two rounds. He also won round 4. You call it running, I call it conserving energy and playing to his strengths. He clearly knows he hasn't got the best tank on him, so he fought sensibly and timed himself well.
He might have been being mauled by Chad on the ground, but he never gave up and Chad couldn't finish him. Let's not forget how big of a deal that is, Chad is one of the best wrestlers in the UFC. There's no shame in tapping when there's no way out. That's nothing like being a 'quitter'
Bossed the first two rounds? First yes, and the first minute or so of the second, then Nate came back and finished the round strongly. I personally had the fight as a draw, Conor winning 1st and 4th, splitting the 2nd, Nate winning 3rd and 5th. Many pros felt Nate won though. Either way, Nate was robbed of at least a draw. Great fight though, both fighters deserve huge props for that.
Mendes couldn't finish him because he was ****ed after having just two weeks to prepare for a huge fight, if he had the same amount of time as Conor, he woudn't have gassed so quickly.
He taps because he panics, he doesn't know what he's doing on the ground and that's why he quits. First Nate fight, allowed Nate to get easy mount, then rolled to his back for Nate to sink in the RNC. Joe Duffy fight, taken down in 30 seconds, again allows his opponent to gain full mount and then sink in the head and arm choke. Baring in mind his so called world class coach is a black belt in BJJ, you'd think his best student would know a thing or two on the ground.
I agree GGG won but the fight was that close it could have gone either way. There wouldn't be too many complaints (about the decision inn the second fight) had the first fight rightly been awarded to GGG imo.
Problem is, GGG is getting older. I think he was visibly slower and lacks the power he once possessed.

I think that's harsh. Yeah he's not got a good ground game, but that's not why he taps. He taps because he gets caught in positions that he can't get out of. That's a big difference to the way you're putting it across.
So what if he has a poor ground game. So many fighters have a poor standing game. With his left hand and strong take down defence, he generally doesn't need a strong ground game because what he has is enough. Just gone ask Alvarez and Aldo about his striking. It's the best in the business for me.
He can't get out of the positions because he gives them up too easily as he doesn't know what to do in that situation so just panics and gives up, look how easily Nate and Duffy passed his guard and got mount in their wins over him. He's a great fighter, a prick of a bloke but his ground game is shocking and he quits when it gets tough.
I've never taken anything away from his striking, his left hand is a joke, in terms of KO power yeah he's up there with Mark Hunt and Ngannou but overall striking skills I think there's better, Stephen Thomson and Edson Barbosa being two, Jon Jones (minus the PED's) has the best skill set and is the most complete fighter we'll likely ever see. If Zabit keeps doing the crazy **** he's doing, he'll be a superstar and in with a shout as well, slick ground game too, that submission last week was mental.

Another nicely timed fight for AJ
His age will go against him or I would have fancied him.
He’s got a punchers chance but that’s about it.
He was being bossed around by the glass chinned Kopite until he got cocky and opened up his chin, Povetkin will always take that opportunity and sparked him.
I expect AJ to box behind his jab and just wear him down, Povetkin can knock anyone out though, and there’s always a chance he gets one of his bombs away and connects cleanly with the big man.
There’s a faint possibility of an upset, just enough to make it a fight I’ll pay for.
