I agree with you Chazz. We want Bowen to stay so reward him with a Contract. Job done People moaned on here (me included) of Tymon being let go for peanuts. This cannot now happen with Bowen. Job done Regardless or whether or not he is sold for profit we had to tie him to a longer improved CONTRACT. I hate the Allams, but for pity's sake this deal either benefits City or them or both. What is not to like you whinging bastards Yes I am.
Pleased for the lad .. he fully deserves it tbh .. I am no Allam apologist but this is standard procedure in football .. pity they didn't do the same with other players who have been allowed to leave for peanuts. But clubs give improved contracts in order to preserve their interest in that player.. it safeguards their investment .. players who are doing well and grabbing headlines are always in demand .. by extending contracts they do not have to bow to cheap offers .. makes sense tbh.. sad thing is with these imbeciles it's far too late. I sincerely hope as a young player he gets his head down and continues to improve .. win win for all concerned that way.
They got this one right, well done them. They got the Tymon one wrong, maybe they learned their lesson.
Whatever the weather, today's performance will no doubt have attracted a few more watching eyes. If he keeps this up he'll be in the PL by January.
Tymon left City because he got a better offer from a PL club. Presumably, he wanted to earn more money and be at a top flight club. Simple as that. Usually, that’d be frowned upon in the main and rightly deserve our contempt , but strangely from some on here, it’s as if he’s somehow the victim. #oneofyourown earning a stack a cash away from your ****ehole of a club.
I don't know what contract he had at City, but I'd make an educated stab that Stoke's offer was better and better than our best offer.
Nobody's saying he's the victim. I just see the whole picture and the wrongs on both sides rather than just blaming one.
